Levoit Humidifier for Bedroom, 25dB Ultra Quiet, Top Fill

For years we have had a Vicks humidifier for when k the kids had coughs and colds, which pumped out hot steam - however I was always concerned about leaving it on through the night. I replaced it with the levoit and have been very impressed. It has a good size water chamber and is easy to fill and set up . I put mine on a small flat stool so it was not in the floor and it sends out cool steam and worked all night on the top setting not disturbing anyone’s sleep . Very quiet and helped a person with a very dry cough ! I have not cleaned it yet , rinsed it out and emptied the water from the bottom as with all humidifiers they end up full of water at the bottom , but it does not look too complicated to clean . Good value for money and works well

Big fan of this humidifier. Purchased to help with overnight congestion due to sinus issues. Works instantly and the control is straightforward. Can be very mild mist or considerable blast, as required. I keep mine just below the middle spot and it works well for me. Distilled water makes it an expensive item to use all the time but I’d still recommend it. I use for 3 days, clean thoroughly (which is a tedious job) and put it away for the rest of the week before starting again. It suits me and I’m happy with it.

Overall, a useful product. Its exterior appearance is very stylish and the space it occupies is quite small. It is also very easy to use and clean, and it is clear. My only problem was that the oil I added didn't seem to work. I saw immediate results with the lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus oils in the warm humidifier I used before. But when I tried this product, even the scent was very faint. I returned it for that reason.

I had looked at other humidifiers but I kept coming back to this one, so glad I did. Delivery was next day and item was packed, sufficient and secure. Very easy to put together, instructions very helpful. I bought this one for my plants and I'm very happy I did. It has two settings, very quiet and easy to clean. It's quite bulky so you will need ample space for it to be placed somewhere. You can also set this up with your Alexa, which is handy. It does have auto shut off so if it runs out of water, it will switch off automatically. This gadget helps retain the moisture in the room and will be handy in the winter especially when the central heating comes back on. It does say to use distilled water, which I am using. I have been so impressed that I have bought another one for my bedroom!

The Humidifier worked perfect and easy to use. Its the distilled water thats the problem. Its £5 for 5 litres. Just having the Humidifier on midway while I'm asleep it uses one litre. Which makes it £7 per week. Having it delivered includes extra costs!

i bought this because i suffer with acid reflux in the morning and ashtma problems i also got a meter to measure the moisture in the room and i can say since using this device i breathe a lot easier now and my mornings are a lot happier with the acid id be running to the toilet bringing up flem since using it that barely happens it relieves anxiety symptoms as well with bedtime so thats a plus listening to the low noise of it is comforting

Bought this humidifier based on NYT Wirecutter recommendation. My bedroom is particularly dry over the winter time, so I needed something to bring the humidity level up. This humidifier works great. Easy to set up and run. My bedroom is about 12 x 15 with a cathedral ceiling, and the machine successfully raises the humidity from 30-35% to 45-50% and keeps it at that level over the 8 hours I'm sleeping. I fill the tank with a gallon of distilled water, and I'm able to run it about 2 nights before the water runs out. The noise level is noticeable when it is on, but not very loud. I usually run a white noise machine at night anyway which completely covers any sound the humidifier makes. I do recommend using the heated steam setting over the winter as it seems to make the room more comfortable. As for cleaning, I've had the humidifier about a month, and I've just been emptying the tank every 2 days, taking it apart (which is quite easy), wiping down the parts with a microfiber cloth, and then letting it air dry over the course of the day. That seems to work well. I do plan on doing a deeper cleaning after a month probably following the recommendations made by Wirecutter for how to do that. You have the option to use essential oils if you want to try aromatherapy, however, I've not tried that, and I'm not sure how healthy that would be for overnight use. You can use an app with the machine which gives you better control over the machine (like finer grain control of humidity settings and options to turn off display), but it's not required. It is pretty easy to set up, and I like being able to use the app on my phone to control it from bed when needed. If you need a humidifier, I highly recommend it.
