Osprey Daylite 12L Messenger Bag - Durable Crossbody Shoulder Bag with Laptop Sleeve and Bottle Pocket

Exceptional bag! Very lightweight but high quality. This will become my new work and carry on the plane personal item. Plenty of room for my 14 inch dell work tablet and iPad Pro 13 inch with work folders in the laptop sleeve. Very comfortable fit. Plus I have room for all my computer accessories and Apple chargers in the main compartment. My 20 ounce Stanley thermos fits perfectly in the outside water bottle pocket without an issue of it falling out. I have several other items to include business cards in the other two pockets. Highly recommend this bag! It is not over priced like several others I considered.

Bought this because I frequently wear my backpack over only one shoulder and this style seemed more fitting. It fits a 16” MacBook Pro and a 32 oz water bottle no problem. Clips are secure (and haven’t pinched my fingers). Plenty of room for the size. Comfortable strap, although may cause a bit of back pain if you carry a lot and are used to a backpack. Things don’t fall out when held upside down (except water bottle maybe), and the zipper compartments are always secure. As someone who doesn’t spend much on bags, it felt a bit pricey, but really convenient bag overall and worth it.

I wanted to love this bag. I have coveted Osprey bags for years, so when I had an opportunity to finally get one I was so excited. The color is vivid. The bag is well made, with good stitching and quality zippers. My intention had been to carry it for work. I used it for a week before I realized I hated it. It’s weirdly shapeless on the inside. There are a couple of pockets but everything just swims in it. I also found it uncomfortable to carry. It dug into my neck no matter how I adjusted it and no matter how much or how little I carried. It broke my heart, but I sent it back.

It’s an Osprey do I need to say anymore!? Incredible quality. My go to work bag. My hiking pack is my go to travel bag whether a weekend trip or 10 days.

This bag is perfect for everyday use around town! It fits my 14" laptop securely and still has room for essentials with the front pocket, side zip pocket, and stretch water bottle holder. The padded shoulder strap and carry handle make it super comfortable to carry, and the buckle closure feels secure. It’s lightweight at just over a pound, but still sturdy and well-made. Stylish, functional, and practical—great for commuting, errands, or casual outings. Highly recommend!

Lightweight and well built but really spartan. The shoulder strap could’ve been a little more padded and the water bottle pouch could’ve had some way to secure taller bottles. My Camelbak Chute Mag slides right out. I can secure with a carabiner on the strap but that is a pain to deal with when using the bottle. A back pocket would have been nice for any paper you’re carrying around and need easy access to. The main pocket holds a lot but you’ll need to bring your own organization. You can squeeze a 15” MacBook Pro in the laptop pouch but my 13” MacBook Air slides in and out easily. I also wish there were a way to temporarily secure one or both corners or the flap with either velcro or some really strong magnets.

This is an awesome messenger bag! I wanted something smaller and easier to carry for school than a backpack because I have a bad back. This works really well for me! The main pocket is a little bit smaller width-wise than I would like, but I was able to reorganize my supplies differently so that everything fits. The materials are really solid and I love the design aesthetic. I also really like that the strap adjusts on both sides of the cushioned strap pad. This is the best school bag purchase I've ever made!

Does exactly as intended, a daily messenger bag. Bought it for going to work and back and I am easily able to carry my laptop, binder, and lunch depending on how much I bring. Two things to note for more info. Description says it holds a 14in laptop and that is from corner to corner not side to side. My work laptop is 16.5 inches corner to corner and I can work it into the laptop sleeve but it doesn't exactly rest on the bottom of the bag as intended; putting it in the main pouch isn't a big deal. Water bottle holder doesn't hold a 40oz Nalgene, more like a 20oz hydrofask; although the Nalgene does fit in the main pouch with ease. $80 is totally worth it, you are paying for the brand but the design, durability, and color (Torrent Blue) is great.

Good but Osprey has rigid hard surfaces that never bends while carrying creating inconveniences

Absolutely amazing, but using this for nearly a year now consistently every time I go out and it does not fail my expectations. I’d say you can comfortably fit one book one jacket, one water bottle, one or even two back of snacks and another water bottle on the outside with two more side pouches of you put your wallet, your keys, your AirPods from me. I also use this as a gym bag, which has the lifting straps my water bottle and also other essential needs bag fits and checks all the boxes. GOAT buy
