Great! Love it! Good entry lvl gaming Mobo.
Great aesthetics I have it paired up with : ballistic 12gb ram (6x6) , Asus strix 1050ti and a6 and GPU .runs fine but not great , not because of the Mobo but the GPU . Will updates to and athlon x4 880k.Also my Mobo when is booting up says CPU fan not working , tried the 2 port's but nothing are damage I guess. But it has 4 more fan channels so I contacted them there.

It is difficult at this time to make a judgement as to which is better. Cross Blade ranger has been worry free and ...
has the look and feel of a high end piece of equipment. packaging and firmware are first rate. I did a build with MSII gaming board and the bios is different. I am more used to using the MSI setup but I am getting used to the ASUS setup now. It is difficult at this time to make a judgement as to which is better. Cross Blade ranger has been worry free and is pwerful in its customization abilities. It has a lush feel to it.

A motherboard for all Seasons
I highly recommend this motherboard. You may not get top of the line Intell preformance but bang for buck it is excellent.I have been building my own homebrew computers since 1997. This build was an easy, enjoyable build and has given me a computer with a broad spectrum of capabilities. The motherboard is feature rich with its many expansion slots, internal and external USB connectors, and SATA ports galore. The BIOS is very granular and allows for precise configuration. Overclocking is insanely easy in several steps in the BIOS several steps. Overclocking fanatics have the tools in the BIOS to be fanatics and fine tune those last fews MHz.I use the computer for medium gaming and things that are connected with university studies in mathematics and physics - web browsing, Microsoft Office, Mathcad, Mathematica, etc. I am retired and returned to university to study things that interest me. I also do photo, sound, and video editing as well as use genealogy program a large database for genetic studies. My rig is configured thus:Crossblade Ranger BIOS 1002 04/08/2012A10 7850K @ 4.2 GHzNVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB DDR5 EVGA16 GB PNY DDR3 PC3-1700240 GB ScanDisk SDSSDHII240G O/S and Apps2 TB Western Digital ST2000DM001-1ER164 DataASUS BC-12b1ST Blu-Ray/DVD/CDEXCELVAN 5.25'' Media DashboardEnermax ETS-T40-TB CPU CoolerThermaltake Smart M 650WattLogitech G710 Mechanical Gaming KeyboardLogitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming MouseLogitech HD Pro Webcam C910Logitech Gamepad F310Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick (Silver/Black)ASUS 27" VS278 HDMIViewSonic 20: DVIMicrosoft Windows 8.1 (6.3) 64-bit (Build 9600) DirectX 11.0

lack of memory support poor software support poor customer service
So I unpacked this board, built it up with AMD's A10 7850K 4+8 processor and Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400MHZ memory. Before I go any further, the computer is running, but my problem is simply this. There is support for other Corsair Vengeance Pro memory at lower clock speeds but when the 2400MHZ is plugged in, it operates at 1333 MHZ.I had originally thought that this would be addressed with the Bios, and when it was not, I thought that it just needed a flash update. Well, apparently there is no support on ASUS's site for windows 7 Pro 64... It says there is, but when I try to open the flash tool, I get an error stating that the operating system was unexpected.....I have an e-mail into ASUS now, and if they happen to get back to me (over a week so far) I may change my feedback. If they do not, I may delete this feedback and give this MB a lower rating for poor customer service.Seriously, I expect better from one of the best MB manufacturers to purchase from!

Overclocking was stupid easy with the ROG software
I'm using this with an A10-6800k with stock cooling, 8gb Corsair Vengeance 1600 Mhz ram. I have idle temps around 31C and stock under load at about 48C. Overclocking was stupid easy with the ROG software, but to get that I had to search for the drivers. After OC with just the software, the graphics was running at 1100 Mhz, processor at 4600 Mhz, and RAM at a little over 1600 Mhz with temperatures during gaming at around 61C.I'm not a professional builder, in fact, this was my first build. Post OC, I can play 7 Days to die on Medium to high settings, Warthunder on High to Max, Saints Row 3 on Ultra, Skyrim on Ultra. My only complaint is that initial install of the display drivers was a pain. The standard resolution before installing the drivers made clicking the "I accept" or "Next" buttons impossible. I had to hit tab and guess throughout the whole process. It was impossible for me to drag the window or change the resolution until the drivers were installed. Also, I could not figure out how to install windows through a thumbdrive. That was a pain. Eventually just used my friends CD drive. Other than that, it looks cool, has an easy start button in bright red on the MoBo itself, and the user interface is simple and amazing. It feels like you're in a program when playing with the bios.

ASUS ATX DDR3 2600 FM2 Motherboard CROSSBLADE RANGER PC Build and expirience with it.
Great FM2+ motherboard, nice memory compatibility, tons of nice features, i love the ROG looks black and red, robust build quality, really get back what you pay. Got it running with an Asus Strix GTX 1050ti, G.Skill 2400 16 GB mem kit (just for video and photo editting 8gb IS GREAT FOR GAMES), 2 Intel 240GB SSD's (OS), 1TB Seagate hybrid SSDHD (games), 2TB WD Black mecanical drive (editing work), AMD Athlon X4 880K cpu OC and a Thermaltake Water 3.0 all in one liquid cooling solution with a single 120mm radiator. Its a really nice everyday PC, nice for work, great for 1080p gaming, very power efficient. For my needs ill give 10 out 10 to this Asus motherboard. Kind of old tech but still running strong and a lot less money invest in it than any up to date PC.

The board looks like it is going to perform great
The board looks like it is going to perform great, but it fell short for me. The on board sound was good, but the board failed to go into dual channel architecture for the ram. I installed 32GB of Ramm as specified by the QVL. The BIOS informed me that all 32 was there but would only post 16 of it to the operating system. I am running a 64 bit OS and I tried all possibilities in the manual and also contacted ASUS. I am stuck with either spending more time and money returning it or leaving my ramm where it is and upgrading the board at a later. I will not be purchasing ASUS again.

Great replacement for my sons motherboard
Great replacement for my sons motherboard. A little pricey for a motherboard using older components (Fm+ and DDR3) but it saves my son from buying new processors and memory and the Crossfire had made a big difference in multitasking.
