This is my 25th purchase of Mystical Fire, and I will be buying it as long as they make it! It makes a campfire into something amazing to gaze at and really just relax to - amaze your friends and neighbors as all of the colors of the rainbow blaze from your fire, reds, blues, greens, even indigo, magenta, and a deep azure blue. The coals will be violet for a long, long time as well. If you throw in 2-3 packets, they will last about 30 minutes depending on how the fire is burning. You don't want to throw these on as soon as the fire is started or they will just burn up within 10 minutes or so, leaving only a brief display. For the best results, wait until the fire has been established and dies down, and there are a nice bed of hot coals and throw in your packets and you can enjoy for hours and hours. Truly works, and the best brand I've found for adding color to your fire. LOVE these, and would highly recommend them to anyone. Have even given them to friends and neighbors as gifts!

Love these things and the colors are beautiful and long lasting. Just toss one in the fire when no one is looking and listen to the ooos and ahhhhs!

If you want an awesome fire with vibrant colors, these are a must have. They make colors just as though you are looking at the northern lights.

We surprised our family at Christmas and bought these for some extra fun. I was a little nervous how they worked and if it would be okay inside. They come in sturdy, individual packet envelopes that you simply toss in with your logs. Super easy and very colorful!! So far we used them indoors and they worked great - No popping out on our white carpet. : ) You don't have to use very many so they last for a long time. We're about to finish building our outdoor firepit this week and I'm looking forward to using them outside, as well! Great value for the amount you get and the price!

Previously being a chemist, I've tried making fire colorant myself with ingredients like boric acid and salt substitute with limited results, but the original Mystical Fire is still the bomb. The colors are more brilliant and the effects last longer than they do with any homemade recipe.As always, my only complaints about Mystical Fire is the price and the number of packets needed for a good light show. One packet in a campfire generally isn't enough to make much of a difference. It takes two or three to get the party started. It also helps to place them right in the center of the hottest part of the fire.As much as I go camping, buying this by the case is really the only way to go. Enjoy!
