By Care full - there are restrictions on how this works
I made the assumption that the signal would travel in either direction - this is NOT the case The signal will only travel from Optic to RCA Phono connection and will NOT transmit Dolby sound. Complete waste of money due to lack of information by the supplier manufacturer.

Recién lo puse y sonaba horrible pero es por el modo de salida de audio no tiene que estar en formato Dolby lo quité y suena súper bien!!! Les dejo video para que escuchen y vean cómo sonaba y como si sueñas bien sin sonido en formato Dolby

Funziona molto bene l'audio esce molto pulito l'unica cosa di cui mi sono accorto ma credo che valga per ogni televisione è che L'audio della tv Non viene scollegato quando c'è l'uscita con il cavo ottico quindi si hanno i due volumi insieme, bisogna abbassare per forza uno dei due per avere un audio normale altrimenti si sente una specie di eco. Come funzionamento Comunque tutto bene, è una buona soluzione.

Easy solution for great audio at a fantastic price
I used this for a TCL Roku TV with one optical audio output and one USB port. Up til now, I'd used the headphone 1/4" out with an RCA connector for input to my older stereo amplifier. The sound was loud enough, decent enough, but not excellent like I enjoy and options like 'sound leveling/normalization' and 'sound modes' in Roku's audio setting menu were disabled. The connections were easy, I used a USB splitter so I could connect both the audio adapter power AND the backlight LED strip behind my TV - and it works great. The sound now is absolutely wonderful, music is crisp and full spectrum, and theater is phenomenal - with appropriate dialogue volumes vs background music and sound effects. The only issue is needing to use the stereo amp remote AS WELL AS the Roku TV remote for volume controls. If it's annoying enough I'll just get and use a multi-device remote and program them. What a big difference and improvement for such little cost. 😁
