So at first I didn’t notice the glue until it was in the cage, it screws in well and holes extremely stable, however the visible glue on the front is an issue for animals who chew, I removed it from the cage and picked off the glue I saw, other than the glue I highly recommend this ledge

Within 30 seconds of this being installedAnd some veg out on it my rabbits were investigating. Later in they were both up in the platform. Ordering another one to go above this one so they can really practice their jumping. Value for money and super easy to install.

Arrived with 2 of the clamps split down the middle and this could potentially hurt my animal's. I have not placed this in my cage yet due to it being split down the middle I'm not sure if others are like this or this one was just a build off measurement.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how good the quality of this little shelf is and on the size.It’s easy to attach with 4 screws that push through the bars, each with two washers to secure them. There was no wobble once everything was tightened up and they hold quite a lot of weight.As it’s wood it isn’t the easiest to clean if it gets weed on, but where I’m using it that’s not an issue. You can also get something like plastikote to treat it with to make it a little waterproof and easier to keep clean.The little lip around the platform is also great for hamsters (who can be clumsy little things) to stop them falling off, and to keep food bowls and toys safely on the platform and not get pushed off.My chinchilla does like to gnaw on the wood but that’s to be expected and so far she’s not chewed them down too much. For the price I’d be happy to replace it if she does chew down to get though anyway.Overall I’m really happy with the platform and would definitely recommend it for all small pets.EDIT - I’ve now brought five of these platforms. Three 28cm, one 33ccm and one 17cm for my hamsters and my chinchilla. They’re such great value for decent sturdy shelves I really have nothing to fault with them and I’m sure I’ll continue to buy to keep adding more enrichments for my cages.

My sons rats like these. Feel a bit sturdier than what came with the cage.

This is great if you don't have enough levels in your hamster cage. My hamster loved climbing up to them and makes the cage look better
