After years of breaking so many teeth off of plastic hair clips while carrying them in my handbags, & toiletry kit I was looking for a metal clip whose teeth wouldn't snap off or fall out of my hair. I have fine, thin, below the shoulder hair, a good 6-7 inches long measuring from the base of my neck. I bought this one to try and it held all day without re-adjustment so I bought 3more of these clips to keep in my handbags, toiletry kit, & vehicles. I don't find it heavy in any way. The close together teeth help hold my hair. The metal didn't bend with use. What I also really like is that the teeth are bent flat to the clip so none stick out when closed, thus the clip lies flatter to the contour of my head and doesn't stick out like most clips do. I may buy more because I like the flatter teeth and they can be hard to find. Highly Recommend! G.

I like this clip. It’s nice and light for a metal clip. It’s smaller than expected. I have long fine hair and if it was much thicker, this wouldn’t cut it. It does get caught in my hair a fair bit, so maybe not best for curly longer hair. Looks nice and comfortable enough that I can wear it for long periods of time.

This is a great quality hair claw, which everyone can use. It's very strong and that's what I love most about it. I would not say that people with really thick and long hair can use it for standard up-do twists (whatever they're called), but people with thick hair can use these for half up-do's, the ones where you gather the hair from above your ears,, and cinch it in the back. I have "blue undertone" skin, which is fair, pinky skin, but is only called "blue" undertoned because we're the blue bloods, and gold generally clashes with my skin tone, so I got the hematite color. The hematite seems a little goth (too dark) to me, and I would have preferred a more antiquey or pewter type of look, but I'm still happy to have this hair claw because it's such great quality, and the metal look is a good look, too. This claw seems to open pretty wide, and thus can grab a good amount of hair, and for that reason it doesn't need to be super long, and so it has a minimal look to it, for those who are minimalists. It's just an all around great quality hair claw and I highly recommend it!!

The best hair clip I have ever used, hands down. It holds all of my thick hair, doesn’t let it slip, and is so super sturdy!

The clip is real nice but the picture showed on the page showed it is bigger and it is real small for the alot if hsir you have but the metal is nice but to small

Bought this clip a little over a year ago. The pictures are from today. I absolutely love this clip! Use it daily. I have fine/slippery blonde hair (but a lot of it), and it holds all my hair up great. A few times, the pin in the middle has start to come loose, and once it came out fully. Not a huge deal, it is easy to reassemble. Super happy with the durability!! My old plastic clips would consistently meet their tragic ends at the bottom of my backpack, smashed under a big book... sigh...

Really pretty! But a tad heavy, so it slumps down a bit. Might need to learn a new technique for it. If you're great with hair products, this one is probably worth buying.

Aunque es mucho más pesada que una pinza de plástico, me gusta que el material sea de metal porque dura más. Tengo el cabello pesado, y estas pinzas funcionan perfecto. Además, el color me gustó mucho.
