A needle tool and a feathering texture tool are two items I use a lot and are probably worth the price without the other items included. I also frequently use the rounded edge metal tool mostly for cleaning clay off of a wheel head or another working surface. The serrated edge tool can be use to roughen the surfaces of clay to be joined but I am unsure of the purpose of the rectangular tool. It’s probably also fine for cleaning clay off of surfaces.The “chamois” cloths are NOT CHAMOIS but rather some sort of micro fiber. Typically these would be used for smoothing the rim of wheel thrown pots. I haven’t used them yet so I don’t know how effective they will be.

The metal scrapers/shapers are thin and flexible, like I hoped for. The chamois are nice and having 10 of them is welcome, though I'm not sure that they are actually chamois. The tools are okay. The wire texture tool will be useful, but the clay needle seems like it will come apart if used heavily. The scrapers and the chamois are worth this low price.

Perfectly legit clay tools of decent quality, definitely for beginners. As I get more into clay arts, I would probably want to replace these with higher-quality versions, but they are perfectly suitable for the time being.The cutter/scrapers are both sturdy and flexible, they seem to be exactly the right flexibility for the use case of cutting clay and also conforming to a non-straight surface to scrape clay off.The stippling/feathering tool and the needle tool are both made of metal with some heft to it, and they have a textured surface where you place your hand to make them easier to hold.I suspect that the 'chamois' cloths are not actually chamois but some kind of soft microfibre material. Either way, they seem good enough to get you started.I’m generally satisfied with this set!

These items are meant for use in making pottery but I have other uses for them.The chamois cloths will be used as cleaning and polishing cloths for opto-mechanical equipment, The pointed stylus will be used as a probe for moving samples around under a microscope, the thin metal blades will be used for spreading adhesives and the wire brush will be used for scraping dirt from mechanical equipment.I realise this is not what the manufacturer intended them to be used for but they suit my purposes well.
