I got this remote control truck because my grandsons are in love with monster trucks. Plus, they play hard, so I figured the metal truck might survive. My first concern was that the metal might have sharp edges, but it's smooth and the edges are not too sharp, and I did not find any rough spots. I was pleased that it came with 2 rechargeable batteries, so play can continue as long as they are interested, which is quite a long time with this truck. The truck is sturdy enough to play with it without the remote control aspect. It came with a remote control (like a video game) and also a wrist remote. This is a fine toy.

This car is pretty solid and pretty fun to operate.The omnidirectional movements really set it apart and really amused my nephew along with the misting "smoke" effects and lights.It's fast in almost any direction with very good functionality from the remote. Decent battery life, and it also comes with 2 batteries, so you'll probably run out if juice before it does.The only issue was the hand remote didn't quite work, so one star off for that. That's honestly a minor issue though, as most people would opt to use the traditional controller anyway.

There’s so many cool options on this RC vehicle it blow my mind at how affordable it is. The hand held remote feels rather well made and some many controlling features. The finger controller takes a bit of time getting used to but a lot of fun. The RC truck has incredible tricks from: driving side ways right or left to-filling a container in the rear and watching it vapor out the back end looking like it’s fire with the LED lite up!!It spins in a circle on a dime and is super quick, too, just driving forward. The manufacturer includes 2 rechargeable batteries for the vehicle but the controllers need batteries…once it’s ready to go, get ready for a wild ride!! All I have to say is buy one for a gift or for yourself, it’s well worth it!

The RC car has cool features for the price but the description is not for this car, only the images are accurate. There is no "twist transformation," no "oil filled metal shocks", the batteries are not 900mAh, etc. So, to start, here is a more accurate description.Size: 28 x17x12cmRemote control distance: 80MBattery: 3.7V 1200mAh (x2)Working time: 50 minutesCharging time: 180 minuteMist/Spray function: the tail box can be filled with water and mist out the back to look like flames (see pic)Sound modes: (1) real car sounds, (2) music, (3) dancing/demo mode, and (4) no sound mode.Moves forward, backward, and side-to-side.When comparing the car to the actual features (that I found on a different website) it seems to work as advertised except for the hand-strap remote controller. After installing batteries and turning it on, it just flashed like it was trying to connect but never worked. I emailed customer support but received no response. Overall, it works fine with out the hand strap so it's wasn't too big of a deal.On the positive side, the flame-looking mist shooting out the back and omnidirectional controls are really cool. Kids seem to like the music and car sounds but you can turn them off if you want. The long battery life is really nice, too. I should note that the side-to-side movement really only works on hard surfaces so it's best to run it on a driveway or something like tile if you're indoors.Overall, it's a pretty cool budget-friendly RC car.

In order to allow my husband to accompany our grandchildren on their outdoor RC car excursions, I got him the 4DRC Y3 RC Off Road Monster Truck, and it has been a terrific addition to their leisure time. His excitement was evident when he opened it, and he is now fully involved in the action rather than merely observing from the sidelines.He had a hard time at first understanding the truck's sideways ability, but he quickly got the hang of it, which gave their races an exciting new aspect. The long-range control is impressive—he can drive the truck all the way down our driveway, far beyond the reach of our grandchildren's remote-controlled cars. The inclusion of two remote controls is a nice touch, particularly the unusual hand "wrap" control, which adds another level of fun.We live on gravel roads where other RC cars often have problems, thus the truck's performance on both concrete and off-road terrain is really appreciated. The primary disadvantage is that the battery only lasts 45 minutes instead of the advertised 90 minutes, and it takes two hours to recharge. But, considering its excellent functionality and robustness, this minor imperfection does not take away from the overall satisfaction and quality it provides.

I purchased this for my nephew, who is a big car fanatic--or anything else that moves.This is a very rugged and "pricey" looking toy, with lots of options for play patterns. Hours and hours of play time--fortunately, it comes with rechargeable Li-ion batteries.There are several "modes", with special EFX, so the kid will have fun learning about all the different things it can do, over any type of surface. And then putting it all into action.An excellent and exciting toy.

I'm surprised that the hand sensor isn't mentioned more prominently in the ad. Kind of a cool feature. You can strap this on your wrist and it has a finger button. As you move your hand, the car moves. It's kind of sensitive so don't expect fine movements but it's kind of fun. I had a bit of a problem switching to the controller and found out that you have to turn the car off and then on again to designate with controller your using, the main one or the hand control. The water effect that looks like flames is surprisingly cool! And the tires are a bit strange as they allow the car to go sideways as well as left/right, front/back. I got it for me, I'm an older guy and like playing with some of things while relaxing on my patio - great fun!
