The Carry Speed Strap can use with L Bracket. The L Bracket has Arca Swiss. You need to make sure your tripod ball head has an Arca Swiss mount. If so, you do not need to adjust the tripod ball head. You just need to change the camera from horizontal to vertical.

Q: Is this strap compatible with a Nikon coolpix P950?

Yes but it’s quite a bit of overkill.
