MegaGearEver Ready Genuine Leather Camera Case compatible with Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ100, DC-TZ200

The case is well designed, protecting the camera while allowing access to all the ports and controls. The material appears to be real leather - if it is an imitation then it is a very good one.The design is basically of the old 'retro' ever-ready type. There are two studs on the bottom - one holds on the folding section and the other keeps it closed. It is really pretty obvious which one to use to open the front of the case. The open section can then swivel on the stiffer stud and does not really get in the way in use.The case is well made and fits my TZ100 perfectly.The supplied leather strap is nicely wide and is long enough to carry the camera over your shoulder. Attaching the strap to the case is a bit fiddly but an instruction leaflet was provided. Mine came with a pair of extra strap attachments of the nylon cord and clip style, so that you could fit the strap to the camera rather than to the case eyelets.All that spoils the overall look is that the strap attachments are black - I have the brown case.As others have noted, one possible problem is that the two studs on the bottom of the case make it difficult to stand the camera onto a flat surface with the body part of the case attached. The studs also make it hard to set the camera on a standard tripod head. However it only takes a few seconds to undo the tripod screw and remove the camera from the body part of the case.Overall I am happy with the case. Obviously I can't comment yet on its longevity - time will tell ...

Very good quality, fits the camera really well. It looks classy and retro. Protects the camera well. The front folds down easily to allow the camera to be used quickly. Other reviews state that the front of the cover comes off easily - it does, the press stud holding it is not strong enough to keep it in place - however, if it did stay in place it is a little cumbersome to operate the camera well with it there. I take the front half of the cover off when I use the camera and put it in a pocket or bag. The camera can then be used easily without the case dangling from it.Little doors in the leather allow easy access for charging, changing memory cards etc.Overall excellent value for money and looks amazing. Very pleased.

The leather case comes in 2 parts, one for the body and the wrap-around flap cover for the top and front. The 2 parts are connected to each other using a button clip on the base. However, when you undo the flip, it gets in the way of the LCD and/or the optical viewfinder and you really have to take it off if you want to use the camera properly.I like the fact that there is a small cut-away on the base on the unit, so you can use the gap top flip out the back LCD. That's well thought out.What's not so thought out is that having the clips on the bottom mean that when you place the case with just the body cover, it doesn't sit properly (it'll either learn forward or lean back), as the 2 clips protrude (see attached images). That's one design flaw.The second design flaw is the the location of one of the clips on the bas is quite close the the tripod socket, so that you will only be able to use a small tripod head with the case attached. If you have a regular size tripod head with a screw then you won't be able to attach the camera to the tripod with the case attached, which will be quite annoying.The leather strap that comes along with the case is also of high quality and about 2 cm in width, which makes it comfortable to have it on your shoulder. My only wish is that they'll make the strip about 30 cm longer.

Great case which really complements the camera and fits well. The case is very well made and should last for years. Offers great protection for the camera too.

The product is well made, fits well and protects the camera well. The problem with it is it’s annoying when using the camera the leather cover is hanging under the camera. It is also only attached by a push button so it’s easily lost as I did. It could be better designed without much cost so it is attached with a strap so you don’t loose it.

I’m writing the review because a few people have mention the stud popper at the bottom of the case is not strong enough to hold the weight of the opened case when using the camera. For a few times I thought the same then had a lightbulb moment...there are 2 studs. The smaller stud is meant to pop open and close easily,it’s the larger stud that should remain in contact with the open part of the case and this is a much stronger connection Not the smaller one.The case is a lovely old leather retro look with the real leather smell, a good addition to my camera (TZ100)

It looks good, nice retro styling. Fits the camera well. but the seams just completely fell aprt after about 5 years despite being only lightly used

I've bought a camera case from MegaGear before and it was very useful. But this item is sheer quality. The fit is bespoke for the camera and leather is lovely. It works so well because the poppers allow easy access to everything necessary - perfect and very pleased.

The case is made of quality leather. Fit and finish very good.

I'm very pleased with this purchase! Nice quality genuine leather case that fits my Panasonic ZS200 perfectly. It is somewhat retro-looking and does the job of protecting the lens and LCD screen. Good quality neck strap with some room for adjustment. Delivery time was 4 days, which is more than acceptable.
