Definitely Works!
This is a good alarm in that you won't miss it if the door is open. I am happy to know if my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's tries to leave her room while I am asleep, this will certainly wake me. I don't necessarily care that it is difficult to know how to set it with the remote without setting it off for example if I want to set it at night. I guess that is just a learning curve. I would recommend this. It is easy to install just a few minutes and it was ready to go.

Works as stated
We needed an alarm on our stand alone screen room that has access to the pool. No wires. Fully expected to take it down after inspection, but it has an option to turn off so we left it up. We don't have children to worry about getting in the pool accidently, but it's there if we need it.

Good for what I needed it for.
The media could not be loaded. Wish it had a easier volume control but it definitely works and alerts you when the door is opened. Easy installation also!

The media could not be loaded. Great for somewhere you don’t need an actual wired monitored alarm! Great value! Perfect for my safe condo just want to know if doors open bc doggie!!

Super Easy Setup
I was concerned that my door frame molding would make it hard to get a connection to the base, but I didn't have a problem at all. I haven't put it through its paces yet, but the door open siren works well, which is why I bought it.

Bought for child safety
LOUD!!! I bought this for extra child proofing for my toddler since she learned how to unlock our front door. I added this alarm in the event she was to open the door until I get the proper screws to go through the steel door to add and extra lock she cannot reach. It’s loud and I can hear it in any room of the house and it also makes my dogs bark like crazy so absolutely no one is coming in or out without me knowing immediately.

My husband has dementia & at any time decides to leave our home..I ordered the brass bells that were beautiful but ineffective..these simple door alarms are fantastic!! They don’t come w/batteries no big deal.. standard size..easy to install too! Different tones to suit your needs..
