Review: Great value - Got this for my French bulldog for when she is outside in the yard for awhile if it rains or cold. It’s easy to put together it’s good value for money but definitely light and wind will blow over if not in corner or tied down Review: Dog Kennel not built to survive strong winds - i purchased the pet kennel to house a stray cat i have been feeding for 2 years and with the winter coming i wanted somewhere warm for him to rest in and i loved the look of the kennel. I constructed it as per the instructions but the roof part kept coming loose, i believe i had finally made it sturdy and i placed it in a position protected by two brick walls so the cat could come in and out in a secluded place. After three nights i was very pleased that the cat had taken to the kennel, however on the fourth night we experienced very high winds and when i got up at 5 am the following morning to feed the cat the kennel roof had blown off and despite my searching the street where i live there was no sign of it, i spoke to my neighbours but they had not seen it. I am very upset as i paid good money for for this and i am not trusting buying a new kennel because it should have survived strong winds. michael cummins. ## Features - Treat your pet with this stylish and modern Kennel that can be used as a summer or winter house/shelter. - Comes in 2 colours - made from plastic so perfect for all year round. I just clean mine with a water hose. I wouldn't recommend this kennel at all really. **Q: What is the colour of this Kennel?** A: The roof is a darkish brown and the sides are a kind of mocha colour **Q: I have 2 frenchies who do everything together , would this kennel be big enough for them both ?** A: I think that you would struggle to get the 2 of them in there honestly. I have a 16 week old border collie and its just right for him. Just look for one slightly bigger imho. Hope this helps. **Q: Would my golden retriever fit inside?** A: Not the size shown here. You would need to check out the dimensions of the bigger kennels. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value *by K***E on 17 March 2024* Got this for my French bulldog for when she is outside in the yard for awhile if it rains or cold. Not as sturdy and i expect it to be but easy to put up. Disappointed as bought in october for christmas so only just opened and notice its broken. Doesnt affect when put together but clearly no quality control on return as its been elsewhere before me ## Frequently Bought Together - Plastic Dog Kennel Pet Shelter Plastic Durable Outdoor - Color Brown - Self Heating Pet Blanket Pad Ideal for Cat/Dog Bed Medium --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/63933456-plastic-dog-kennel-pet-shelter-plastic-durable-outdoor-color-brown](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/63933456-plastic-dog-kennel-pet-shelter-plastic-durable-outdoor-color-brown) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
