Okay, I'm going to start off by saying I SUCK AT DOING MY OWN HAIR. I have bought so many styling tools over the years and can just never get the hang of how to use them. 99% of the time, I straighten my hair or just twist it up in a clip.Until I read some reviews and decided to try this out. And I have to say, it's really been a game changer in my look and my hair routine. It is literally idiot-proof 😅 you take a small section, clamp it down and when it beeps, you move down the hair and repeat the process. It looks and works better if you do small sections of hair at a time. I typically take half of my hair and clip it up and do the underside in 4-5 sections and then undo the clip and do the top half in 4-5 sections. The whole process is so fast. I can do my whole head in 15 minutes or less. My hair doesn't like to hold curls very well, but with this tool I can do this in the morning, and it will still look great the next day.Super awesome tool, and I'm so happy I took a chance on this! It gives a soft, retro wave to your hair. Very romantic. I'm having so much fun changing up my look!

Fabulous results; easy to use; long lasting style. So glad I chose the smaller one; it's very lightweight and easy to use, and the waves it creates are just the right size and shape for me. I am small with very thin fine hair. It takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to do all of my hair, and it lasts for days until it gets wet. Curling irons, curling wands, etc. almost never hold in my hair. No matter how much hair spray! I’ve been able braid my hair while wet and undo it in the morning for waves and that’s about it. I kept seeing this crimper on TikTok and had to give it a try.I like smaller waves and curls, so I bought the one inch waver. It’s pretty okay to handle, but if you have weak joints, just be mindful of how you hold. Since I have fine, straight hair, I used the lowest heat setting of 280 and the 6 second setting. The auto shut off after 30 minutes is fine, but since I have a lot of long hair, I did have to turn it back on. It took me about an hour to do my whole head. I’m sure as I get the hang of it, I’ll get faster. This crimper created such cute waves! They held up pretty well overnight too. I just touched up any straightened up parts of my hair in the morning in less than 25 minutes and my hair looks great.Definitely follow the heat suggestions—I feel like if I went warmer, it could’ve fried my hair. 280 was perfect. So smells or anything. Also, make sure you hold it completely closed the entire x amount of seconds or it won’t beep when it’s time to release.

This wave tool is a total game changer for my straight, fine, thin hair! It's so easy to use and I can style my entire head of hair in a very reasonable amount of time. I do use a volume texture dry spray prior to using the tool, and after I release each section, I lightly mist it with a lightweight hold hairspray. I don't comb through the waves right away just to let them set. I typically wear my waves down and sleep on them and the next day I still have waves to work with! I absolutely love this thing and all my straight hair sisters need to give it a try.

A big one. The burnt smell it leaves in my hair is incredibly strong, to the point where it lingers even after washing. But I finally gave in, and I’m happy I did!The curls turned out great and lasted longer than I expected. It heats up quickly and works well on my thick hair. I went with the larger size, which definitely helps with volume, but I do wish I had gone with the smaller one — the bigger iron is a little on the bulky side to handle, especially when doing the back sections.That’s my only complaint.
