I'm a big fan of Korean skincare, and I've been using it almost exclusively lately. This is a well-known brand that I was excited to test for my combination 40-s skin, bordering on dry because I'm currently on tretinoin daily.Like most Korean products, the box came sealed with a little plastic seal. You have to break it to open the box, and I always appreciate it so I know nobody opened it before me. The jar inside has an included spatula that sits on top of the inner lid. This way you don't have to dip your fingers every time and can keep it hygienic.There's also an expiration date that gives me 3 years to use the jar, plus you have 12 months since opening it.The cream is of a thicker consistency, has a slight smell of something very herbal, I'm assuming it's juniper that is listed in the ingredients. There is no fragrance added, but just a heads up if you want a completely unscented skincare. The fragrance that you get with this doesn't linger at all, especially once the cream absorbs, there's nothing left. And I am sensitive to smells, so I prefer skin care that doesn't remind me of itself for a very long time.The cream applied easily, even though it's slightly on a thicker side but not as thick as some heavyweight winter moisturizers. I used it in the morning in August when it's still hot, and it did sit on my skin for a while, but then completely absorbed and left me looking slightly glowy. I still apply sunscreen on top, so it made my sunscreen application even easier without pilling or having me rub for too long. Made it glide on actually.I'm very satisfied with the cream, and I think it's great for dry skin to use both morning and evening, but if you have a true combination or oily skin, maybe stick to it in the evening.
