I installed this about one week ago into my garage and I love it, it's got a strong spring, it's well made, the cord seems very flexible and solid, I'm about to get rid of all of my normal extension cords because this goes everywhere in my garage that I would need power making my extension cords pretty obsolete

Weary of unraveling and storing extension cords in the garage, I went looking for self-winding variety and found this one. I couldn't be more pleased. I mounted it on the garage ceiling and dropped the cord down to a practical height. I read another reviewer who indicated that the mounting screws were too big for the holes in the mounting plate. I found the same issue and tapped the holes out to fit the screws. With that problem solved, it then then turned out that the screw heads stuck out too far even when fully tight, preventing the unit from sliding into the mounting plate. Like the other fellow, I replaced them with some shallow-headed (typical) deck screws and it worked fine. Notwithstanding all of this, I'm more than pleased with the product itself.

High quality! I bought the 10 guage, 90’, w 6 outlets! It rolls up very very fast .I like to walk it back in instead of letting it fly back! It goes back in so fast I’m afraid it’s going to break something! I highly one of these in your garage. I like high quality tools etc and this satisfies my requirements very well!

Install was quick and easy. I'd recommend pre drilling the holes if your going into a stud. Otherwise seems to work well so far mounted to my garage ceiling.

Really solid product, I looked everywhere locally and couldn’t find anything that was of any sufficient quality. I’m very happy that I went with this and didn’t settle.Quite heavy, includes everything you need for installation. Love the built in pop out fuse, saves me flipping breakers.

Unit is easy to install, sturdy, good wire 14 gage. Work great in my garage. No problem recommending it. Would bye again.
