stedi Scribing Tape 2PCS Masking Tape 3mm 6mm for Panel Line Models

I was skeptical if this was thick enough to guide various scribers. I found it works great, and compares to thicker Dymo tape that costs more per inch. I used it with scribers from Tamiya, Gunze ( basically a sharp metal rod), Bare Metal and Squadron and it does positively guide the tool where you want it. Always start with several light passes rather than one so you don’t skip on the line.

Just what I needed!

I bought the cheaper version of this type of tape and it was no good at all. This tape features a thick, plastic-like tape and good adhesion which helped to make right cut along the tape. I highly recommend this over other similarly looking product.

After using it for a few hours I must say it’s not me that sucks at scribing it’s my old tape liner. I don’t want to keep spending for my hobby and a little skeptical about this but oh men ! I scribe like I haven’t scribe before. Worth the money. Just buy it.

Probably one of the worse tapes....it doesnt stick to the model kit at all and it slips when you scribe
