Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs - Ultra-Comfy Reusable Hearing Protection for Sleep

I bought these for a 15-hour flight because I wanted to get some sleep without completely blocking out the world. They ended up being exactly what I was looking for. They don’t eliminate all noise like foam earplugs do, but they noticeably reduce the overall sound level. That made it much easier to relax and sleep while still allowing me to hear important announcements from the flight crew. They were also incredibly comfortable. Once I found the right ear tip sizes (a small for one ear and an extra small for the other), I could barely tell I was wearing them. They stayed in place while I slept, and my ears weren’t sore or irritated at all, even after wearing them for hours. The carrying case is compact and well made, making them easy to pack for travel. If you’re looking to take the edge off noisy environments without feeling completely cut off, these are an excellent choice. I was very happy with them for air travel.

The Loop Quiet Earplugs are a true winner! Finally found an ear plug that blocks out snoring, plane noise, and stays in your ear. They have a loop you can use to secure the earplugs and easily take them out. I don't lose them when I am sleeping. The biggest part is that they are really comfortable. I have these in many colors, for home or travel. Also, they have different sizes plugs in the case you want to change them out. These earplugs are a must have!

UPDATE: After a few uses, I think these are worth the $20 I paid. As with any ear plug, it’s gonna take a little while to get used to wearing them all night. I end up having to remove them at some point through the night because my ears just aren’t accustomed to them yet, and the discomfort wakes me up. With that said, I stand by what I said; they are still the most comfortable ear plugs I’ve ever worn. I was initially using the small ear pieces, but I noticed the seal would break upon me lying the side of my head down on my pillow so I switched to the medium. These weren’t uncomfortable at all with the smalls, but I sacrificed the seal; there is some minor discomfort with the mediums, but the seal remains. I also used them while sleeping next to a snorer. They definitely help, but the snorer also needs to use some remedy to lessen the snoring for maximum effect. Mouth tape seems to help in that regard. Hoping these become a sleep staple for me…as long as my ears can adjust to the foreign object. ORIGINAL: Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much considering the reviews were very mixed. Some people swear by these. Others hate them. I had had them saved in my list for a while, but the price always deterred me. I went ahead and ordered some during Prime Day since it was the cheapest I’d ever seen them. They were still $20. Rather expensive for two tiny silicone plugs if you ask me, but I need ear plugs I can stand to wear through the night so I took the leap. The price is reflective of their reusability. My husband snores, and I’m a light sleeper so if his snores don’t wake me up, some other random noise does. Not sure these will drown out snoring, but they work wonderfully when I’m sleeping solo. I’ve used them once so far. They are by far the most comfortable ear plugs I’ve ever worn. No uncomfortable pressure and nothing sticking out of my ear, all while maintaining a good seal. Very compact and suitable for sleeping, even for side-sleepers. With that said, and maybe even due to their comfortable, innovative design, the noise reduction they provide isn’t anything amazing. The package claims they reduce the sound by just 14 decibels which is the equivalent of a quiet whisper or rustling leaves, seemingly not that impressive. During my testing of the different size attachments, I had my husband talk to me, and while they definitely muffle sound, I could still hear every word. However, this was while my full attention was on him. He tried talking to me a few minutes later while I was focused on something else, and I had to have him repeat what he said louder because all I heard was muffled speech. So I imagine the noise reduction seems greater when sleeping or when your attention is elsewhere. The main pull for me is the design and overall comfortability. They are so incredibly small and fit in the ear very nicely. Just cross your fingers you don’t misplace them because I imagine they become lost very easily. Even with the case, they’re tiny. I look forward to trying these while sleeping next to my husband, but my hopes are low when it comes to their effectiveness against snoring. Overall, I am pleased so far. They drown out ambient noise and random bumps in the night at the very least. They make talking and other similar noises sound like humming from afar which can even become kind of soothing if you try hard enough. Honestly, if I think about it, as a full-hearing individual, I wouldn’t ever want to be completely deaf at any point, especially while sleeping. Hearing is important if you’re able. Sometimes your safety or someone else’s depends on it. What I’m trying to say is: these aren’t going to significantly impair hearing or entirely cancel sound, but that shouldn’t necessarily be considered a bad thing.

I love these! I'm a new mom and always wore ear plugs before I had my baby. I was afraid that if I wore ear plugs after baby was born that I wouldn't wake up to his cries, but I do and I think it's because of these ear plugs. They fit nice and snug to help me fall asleep and then they loosen overnight when I'm asleep so I can hear better when I need to wake up. They are comfortable to sleep in and they block out a lot of noise (I can still quietly hear my fan with them in snug). The case is nice to keep them in when you aren't wearing them and easy to pack when traveling. I also really like that you can wash these and re-wear them. I previously used foam ear plugs that are supposed to be disposed of after each use, so these ear plugs were a nice upgrade.

I purchased these after much research as I desperately needed something to drown out engine revving and landscaping equipment noise. My nerves were shot from continuous noise as my community has changed drastically. These work! I am not a nervous wreck anymore in my own apartment. These loop quiet2 are soft, easy to put in ears, stay in, muffled the noises I'm sensitive to. Case makes easy to carry around and I can use in store when children are have screaming tantrums. The color is nice pastel mint. I think they are durable to last. Comfortable to wear all day because I actually forgot I had them in. What's amazing is I can still hear voices on TV for enjoyment. These little ear plugs saved my sanity. I never want to be without them.

I recently had to travel for work and while traveling learned that while we were on assignment we would be working a night shift for the whole month and these things were some of the best ear plugs I have had the joy of using. The hotel we stayed at had a breakfast that got most people up early in the morning yet with these things once the curtains were blacked out I could put them in and not hear anything. I appreciate the small compact case that made it easy to travel with as it has a tight fit that prevents it from falling out of its case. It came with some adjustable heads but I found the standard size was a good fit. It is a nice silicone material that doesn't hurt your ears even if you toss and turn while sleeping.

I use these ear plugs when I'm at the gym as I prefer quiet when I work out. I rate them excellent for blocking out sound; I can still hear the vibration of the pumped-in music, but not the actual sound. They are soft and fit comfortably in the ear canal without irritation. That earns five stars. However, I rate the case they come in much lower. Probably 50% of the time they fall out of the case upon opening it. Also, on multiple occasions, the case popped open after I had stored them, and the plugs were somewhere in my gym bag. Until, that is the last time, when I discovered one was missing. As I was now left with a spare, I bought another pair. Improve upon the case, and my rating will be higher.

I hate ear plugs. I've tried all kinds from the cheap foam earplugs to expensive custom molded earplugs. I use earplugs to block out noise while I'm sleeping. I'm a side and stomach sleeper and I toss and turn all night long. The problem with every ear plug I've tried is I hate the pressure build up in my ears. When I turn on my side the pressure from my pillow against the ear plug is painful too. I've tried to cut the cheap expandable foam ear plugs in half to relieve pressure from inside my ear but nothing works. For me, wearing ear plugs are too painful, both inside of my ear and when laying on my side on my pillow. I have never been able to get through the night wearing ear plugs... until now. I was shocked. Though I am 6' tall, I have small ear canals. Every ear plug I've tried is way too big. On my first night of sleep, I tried the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs with the size small tips. Though there is always a bit of pressure when things are stuffed in your ears, for the first time in my life, I was able to sleep comfortably wearing these ear plugs on the first night. Then I tried the extra small and medium size ear plugs to test whether or not the small size was the perfect fit for me. The extra small did not create a good enough seal and the pressure from the medium size tips was unbearable, as has been my experience with other ear plugs. Switching tips was easy and the ergonomics are excellent, very well designed and easy to insert and remove from my ears. I'm now getting used to wearing the Loop Quiet 2s every night. There's a bit pressure inside of my ears caused by these plugs and, when I lay on my side, my pillow pushes against these plugs too but it's bearable. I'm amazed. So why do I give the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs four out of five stars? The "Quiet" part in the name isn't very "quiet." These ear plugs make ambient noise "quieter" but not quiet. I get a good seal with these ear plugs but I still hear everything, from the compressor of my air conditioner, to a car passing by on the road with closed windows, to my breathing. I highly doubt the 24db noise reduction claim. My guess is that there's more likely a 10 - 15db noise reduction. Still, the performance of these ear plugs are impressive enough to hush out enough noise to make them worth wearing. If there is a way for Loop to come out with Version 3.0 that's even quieter without causing any discomfort whatsoever, they'll have a home run. As of now, the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs are highly recommended.

Die Ohrstöpsel sind wirklich toll. Ich habe sie bereits in einer anderen Farbe bestellt gehabt, aber mein Partner wollte auch welche. Somit habe ich ihn diese geschenkt. Sie sind besonders geeignet für Festivals, um die Ohren zu schützen oder unrige Schlafsituationen. Ich kann sie dementsprechend auch klar empfehlen. Besonders toll finde ich, dass verschiedene Aufsätze mitgeliefert werden, damit sie zu jedem Gehörgang passen können (egal ob groß/mittel/klein). Ein Kritikpunkt wäre, dass sie jedoch manchmal beim Schlafen rausfallen können, aber dies kann auch allgemein an meinem übrigen Schlaf liegen. Auch finde ich die Farbe hier besonders toll, weil diese zu jedem Outfit passt und sich dieses hochwertige Tool richtig angenehm tragen lässt. Auch will ich noch die Verpackung hervorheben, durch die kleine Box kann man diese immer sicher bei sich mitführen und hat diese als stetige Begleiter im Alltag zur Verfügung.

Best ear plugs , doesn’t not move while sleeping

These earplugs are great! I somehow expected the 'loop' ring to be softer. But the earplugs are surprisingly comfy to wear, without that feeling of 'fullness' you get with regular earplugs. They fit snuggly and securely in your ear without poking, don't fall out while you are sleeping even when tossing, and effectively block out most night-time noises, like soft snoring, toilet flushing, etc. Hope they last a long time!
