Excellent Grain Mill Attachment for Fresh Homemade Flour
This grain mill attachment works great with my KitchenAid mixer. The all-metal construction feels sturdy and well-made, and it grinds a variety of grains quickly and consistently. I especially like the adjustable settings, which make it easy to go from coarse cracked grains to fine flour. It's simple to use, easy to clean with the included brush, and has been a great addition to my kitchen for fresh homemade flour.

Heavy Duty Grain Mill
This grain mill has been the most used kitchen appliance since i got it. I am a home chef and often have to grind oats, rice, wheat and other lentils for use in different recipes. This mill attaches to my stand mixer easily. There are 12 grinding levels from coarse to fine. So far i have used this to grind oats, wheat, barley, whole pulses, quinoa and other grains and i am impressed with the output. This is very easy to set up and operate. Just turn the dial to get the desired results. Some recipes call for coarse flour which is not easy to get in stores so this grain mills comes in very handy. Also nothing can beat the taste of freshly milled flour. The unit does not heat up during milling and the noise level is also very low. This is made of stainless steel and is very easy to clean with the provided brush. It is not supposed to be washed but since the flour is not sticky, it can easily be dusted off with brush.

Your Ingredients Your Way
We started making our own bread a few years back, and I thought there has to be a better way of getting/making flour than the method we were using. We tried a few different things, and then tried this grain mill attachment. By far, this is the quickest and most efficient tool we have tried. It's also smaller and cheaper than a stand alone grain mill. It is really simple to use. Just attach it to your Kitchenaid mixer, pour your grains in, and go. They recommend starting with a coarser setting first, then running it through a few times making it finer each time. They also recommend letting the grinder cool 45 minutes after grinding 10 cups. The recipes we use average around 4 cups. However, while the bread we make is baking, we started grinding another 4 cups for our next batch. We just keep it in an airtight container and put it in the fridge. If we want to prepare several batches in advance, we put it in the freezer. There are 12 grinding settings to get the grind you want or need from coarse to fine. We have had this a few months and have used it to grind oats, wheat, corn, rice, and barley. Everything has come out to our desired consistency. For a finer grind, it does take several passes. It all metal, so don't put it in the dishwasher. There is a brush it comes with to clean it and it wipes down really easily. Great affordable option for anyone who wants to make their own breads and control the ingredients they use.

Worked twice then stripped my motor
Broke my Kitchen Aid after 2 uses. I was grinding winter wheat and it stripped the attachment motor on my KitchenAid. It seems very well made. Not sure why that happened. It may have been user error. I will look for a hand grinder through Lehmanns or another reputable site now.

Heavy duty build quality!
I've really loved using this all metal grain mill and have been very impressed with its build quality. After feeling the weight of the mill you can tell this product was made to last. It has 12 grinder levels from course to fine powder and we've only really used the fine powder setting since we are doing wheat or buckwheat mainly but I want to try some other wheat alternatives since this mill has done such a good job with the 2 grains I've tried so far. Another thing I want to point out is that this mill is not suppose to be washed but it does come with a brush to help clean out the old flour and then we also will take it outside and blow it out with a blower or compressed air which has made cleaning it out a breeze.

Great for home bakers!
I got this because we needed a mill. We are making our own bread and decided we will do the flour as well. Mills are expensive. So, we decided to start with one that attaches to the kitchen aid. This one fits my Pro bowl lift perfectly. The mill is durable, metal is rather heavy and is very made. So itโs definitely going to last a long time. I can grind hard and soft wheat berries, oats, and more so Iโve not had any overheating issues, when I was grinding 10 cups of hard wheat berries at a time. Iโm glad itโs versatile. It's relatively quiet As well. Itโs not for the dishwasher but at least it does brush down easily. That makes it easier and quicker to hand wash. So I can forgive that!

Amazing!
Bought this to grind up dry dog food for my senior dog who is having trouble eating dry food since we aren't finding anything great for her diet otherwise. It works perfectly! It's easy to set up and get working on my KitchenAid. It's also easy to get how fine you are hoping to grind it. I can grind enough food to fill up an easy pour container that can hold an entire box of cereal in about 10 minutes. It grinds perfectly on about the medium level. Instead of having to wait a couple hours, I can prep my dog's breakfast and dinner in just a couple of minutes. It's not overly noisy either, but then I'd be surprised if it was quiet since it's grinding. Note: It does come with instructions that are easy to follow and lets you know not to grind for too long (I think 45 minutes) before letting it cool down. That's for flour though, but I would think it goes for anything you're grinding, but I only grind it for about 10 - 15 minutes a week to fill up the container I use.

Great, works well, very happy.
I've only used it once, but was very happy with the results. I used it to grind rice into fine flour, and salt (which I buy in large crystals, and it needs to be ground down). Both worked very well. You need to use multiple passes for larger items such as rice, gradually reducing the fineness setting, but if you do this it works fairly quickly. I'm really happy with it.

Awesome product
Works perfect on my KitchenAid mixer. It grinds the wheat berries very fine so making bread or baked goods is perfect. Highly recommend it.
