Meta Quest 3 Renewed - Great Purchase
I bought this “Renewed” from the Amazon store to save $50, which, as we all know, can sometimes be a crapshoot when it comes to electronic devices. That being said, I LOVE it. I’ve had it about 3 months now, and it works incredibly well. I had been eyeballing larger TVs because I’m a gamer (Xbox) and I wanted something bigger than my 55” TV that I currently have. There’s no need now with this headset. I can connect to either cloud gaming through Xbox (must have their ultimate or premium game pass subscription) or I can directly stream from my Xbox if I’m near it. It sometimes get lag spikes using these methods, but not enough to bother me, and I get to play games on a massive screen now. They also have amazing apps to watch movies (like Bigscreen) that I’ve used to watch my Sunday Ticket on a movie theater sized screen. I can update this review after I’ve had it longer to report on the durability, but I’ve used the heck out of it these first three months and no problems whatsoever. I’m a teacher, so I might even incorporate some kind of VR activities for individual students. This thing is amazing. I’ve never tried the Meta Quest competitors, but I’m extremely happy with this purchase!!! Maybe one of the only negatives is that the battery life is kind of short, but I typically use it on my family room couch that has a middle compartment plug in, so I’m right next to a power source. If you would use this away from a power source, there are options for headbands with hot swap batteries or longer power cords than the one provided, which isn’t very long. Resolution is great. My TV is actually kinda old and is an LCD instead of an LED, so the Meta Quest picture is probably better than my TV. The VR apps and games are pretty fun too, and they’re a nice change from typical 2D gaming. Paramount+ doesn’t seem to work with the browser though, which kind of sucks, but every other one seems to work fine. I have Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime TV, and NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube, and all those work VERY well. Set up was easy too and very intuitive. I did buy a new strap for it because the one provided isn’t very comfortable overall, but I got a comfortable one fairly reasonably priced (like $30). Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in VR and I would absolutely buy it again.

I love it
I've owned an Oculus rift CV2, Quest 2, and now the Quest 3. I bought this to get the best wireless, consumer grade, game and experience orientated VR headset on the market and I would say it delivers. I personally never have any issues wearing VR headsets, such as motion sickness or fatigue and still have no issues with this. The display is crisp, adjustable, and relatively seamless. The display inside isn't so large that anywhere my eyes land, I see screen, but if you're looking forward for the most part it's pretty immersive still. The controllers are easy to hold, easy to use, and just like all the other generations, feel relatively intuitive in virtual reality. Meta did away with the tracker rings on the controllers, which I thought were actually to protect hands from hitting objects, but apparently not. Regardless, they are smaller. I pretty much have no complaints. The pass-through camera which is now way higher resolution and full color, allows for pretty easy augmented reality experiences and real world navigation without lifting up the headset. Most VR games aren't too large in size so 512 gigs is ample storage for even a hardcore VR collector. I don't really have any complaints about fit and comfort. I don't wear glasses and I am appropriate head size for somebody 5'6". Like many things, battery always is more to be desired. I'll say it's perfectly fine, but for any longer sessions, you may run into a dying headset. With the right cable or aftermarket wearable battery, this isn't a problem. There are certainly trade-offs I'm sure Meta considered when choosing battery size and it's fine. I definitely don't regret buying this and Hope VR technology comes far enough that more people can enjoy its experiences without motion sickness and whatnot.

Very solid A+
Amazing. Smooth graphics. Glad I got the wider field of view. Much improved sound system. It’s comfortable and covers more on the contour of my face so it doesn’t allow much light in from the bottom edge making it feel more immersed in the experience. Great purchase

TOTALLY WORTH IT!
I’m not the kind to give Big long reviews, but this is one of my best purchases. I originally bought this for a particular application to help with firearms proficiency. I have loved everything about it. It is addicting, for sure. Great quality, and I did purchase an accessory with a fan and an additional battery. Love it.

Works well but some compatibility issues with newer gaming PC.
The VR experience is good and it is comfortable. It also works well. Some games need a gaming PC. I have a very new one. I had to trouble shoot some compatibility issues to get some older games to run. Also the PC connection can be via a USB cable or airlink (over wifi. While airlink works well, after a few minutes the USB cable link always breaks up and fails. I spent many hours with AI chatbots and meta support. After a week or so of trying with them to get it to work, I just gave up as Airlink is fine more my purposes. The USB cable link is supposed to have better latency and performance but for my purposes that is not important.

Meta Quest 3: Worth Every Penny
The Meta Quest 3 512GB has been an outstanding addition to my tech collection. Over time, I’ve been able to fully appreciate the upgrade in performance and storage compared to older models. The extra space means I don’t have to constantly delete apps or games, and the graphics still look sharp and immersive every time I use it. One of the things I’ve really valued is the comfort and design. Even after many sessions, the headset remains lightweight and easy to wear, and the controllers continue to feel responsive and precise. It has held up very well with frequent use, which shows the quality of the build. Overall, this device has given me hours of entertainment, whether playing games, watching movies, or trying out new VR experiences. It continues to perform like new, and I can honestly say it was a great investment. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable and powerful VR headset.

Pretty looking Garbage
Slightly better than the 2, slightly better resolution but will still give headaches, zero user friendly interface. Cannot connect to WIFI with QR codes yet the thing has 10 cameras. Hand gestures are terrible, worse is the engineers that designed the menu buttons like a desktop... so horrible lag plus tiny buttons, feels like they intentionally designed it to be annoying or simply no one at Meta had actually tried using this and or they hate things that work. This device is probably the best reason to buy an apple product I have yet to see. Apple should buy these for folks so after a few min they will realize they like the idea but this is so poorly done they would likely never use it again... mine was good for about 3 days trying to return but had ordered while out of town so might have to keep this useless example of a company that wants customers to suffer. It does look ok, pass through is trash, resolution so so, function and apps are a ZERO hard to give this thing one star... I guess one star for taking your money and space in the home.

Excellent VR Headset!
I’m very impressed with this Meta Quest 3. It was easy to set up, the graphics are clear, and the performance is smooth. The headset is comfortable to wear, and the 512GB storage gives plenty of space for games and apps. Even though it's renewed, it arrived in excellent condition and works like new. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and immersive VR experience

Fantastic hardware, Abysmal privacy intrusive set up and software.
Ok So i ordered this for sim racing. The package arrived and everything was properly sealed and in good order. I unboxed the whole thing and did not see any scratches or damage to the device in any of its parts. I got a proper cable for it and plugged it in my PC. While the hardware was without anything to complain about. Not the software. You have to sign so many agreements thru your pc and thru your phone it's not even funny to make the device work. It is heavily tied into meta itself which should be illegal to force you into meta so much and in that way. Really intrusive and annoying process to go thru to get the software installed on your pc. Once installed it messed with my soundcard so for now i had to disable this and put everything aside until i can figure this out and see if there is a better way to do this. Nothing to do with the quest itself. I was completely blown away for the time i was in it.
