So a few weeks back, I box bleached my hair (former Sally Beauty employee here and I normally won’t use box dye or bleach- I’d normally rather 💀 on a hill!!), without doing a color remover on the ends. So I’ve been washing and conditioning with this set and the joico blue toning set, along with mixing a 1:1 ratio of the conditioners and applying to the brassy ends while hair is dry and let sit for awhile- and then shower and wash out. It’s helped so much!!

A favorite and staple for me when I use a purple shampoo! I love the purple conditioner!

Tends to leave it feeling a little dry

I am beyond disappointed with the Olaplex blonde products. Unlike other blonde shampoos and treatments that are purple-toned to neutralize brassiness, these are blue-toned—and it completely ruined my hair color! Instead of brightening my blonde, it left my hair with dull, blue undertones that I didn’t want. On top of that, the formula seemed overly harsh, leaving my hair feeling dry and brittle after just a couple of uses. I had high hopes because of the Olaplex name, but this was a total letdown. If you’re looking to maintain your blonde color, avoid these products at all costs! Seriously. People who use this want green hair or something.
