Wait. I have to be reading this wrong. Is this ONE 65oz (4lb) box of 20 Mule Team Borax? ONE? The exact same 65oz box I buy every 2 weeks for $2.79?

Yes it is just one box. Kinda ridiculous, isn't it? You can get the very same thing, same size and all, at WalMart for $4.47 (plus whatever tax your state charges). The one you buy at the store is the same thing as this one, they're *both* considered laundry boosters and say so on the package! Ingredients are the same as well. I'll stick to my far-less-expensive options in my local stores, glad I read the comments here first!

Why is this 3 times as expensive as at Target?

You buy it where you can get it. Some people don't have a Target or Walmart or Home Depot. And some of those stores may not have it in stock repeatedly.
