It will give a workout very surprised
Didn’t take long to setup. All parts were there with tools to put together. Just go slow read parts list to see what goes what. Directions ok. Easy to follow pictures. Its foldability is great and store out of the way. No noise. great resistance. wear shoes pedals have little points for grip just go slow to get used to it. It’s sturdy but I wouldn’t go crazy fast for my safety. Very pleased with price and quality

Great Workout! Easy to set up and easy to burn calories FAST!
When it says total body workout it means it! This thing is a beast of a machine for being as simple as it is. It places a lot of emphasis on your core, and remarkably works all parts of your body. Packaging wasn’t bad, less than 50 pounds I know that much. I weigh about a buck 20 and was able to carry it to our upstairs apartment easily. Set p was simple and the directions are easy to follow, my husband was able to put it together with no problems, that says a lot! As for use, we haven’t had any problems and we have had it nearly a month and have definitely seen a difference. DO NO LEAN BACK! One thing I will stress is not leaning back, which means you can’t see your rep time, speed, or calories burned. We honestly don’t care about micromanaging a workout, if you’re pushing and sweating you’re doing it right. But for those that count calories and how much you’ve burnt through the electronic piece in the middle might be very hard for you to read while exercising. As far as sturdiness it’s good, my husband felt a little wobbly at first, he’s pushing 215 and he said he felt ok once he got used to the motion. You stand up higher than you realize but the amount of floor space it takes up is almost nothing, probably like 3 sqft.

Great compact machine
I love this thing. It was easy to put together, about 30 mins, and instructions were easy to follow. The app it comes with is great. I love the workouts. I chose something like this as I have a bone disease in my wrist that prevents me from doing floor exercises (pushups, burpies, etc.) so this is a great, low impact on my wrist, workout that works my whole body. I couldn't be happier.

A Simple, Effective Cardio Machine
This is a great piece of workout equipment, perfect for me. I love that it has no electric parts to fuss with, and it was easy to assemble and start using. Even though it only has one resistance level, body weight is really all I need. It feels like climbing a pretty steep mountain, definitely strenuous, but without worrying about slipping or losing balance. A solid 20–30 minutes is plenty, and I find it way more intense than a treadmill or rowing machine. Fantastic cardio workout. If anyone’s worried about impact on ankles or knees, it’s actually very minimal (definitely gentler than a treadmill). Just try not to stomp too hard or hit the bottom of the machine. after a couple of sessions you get the hang of it. Noise level is acceptable to me. I can listen to a podcast on my phone without headphones and have no issues hearing it clearly. Great for a quick workout rain or shine without leaving the house. I’ve only used it for a few days, so I can’t speak to long-term durability, but since there are no electronic parts, I’m pretty confident it’ll last or it'll be easier to fix. If you’re looking to build lower-body muscles, this probably isn’t the machine. but for cardio and leg strength, it’s excellent. Five stars!

Delivers a Good, Basic Workout
Arrived on time but with a hairline crack which I hope will not cause an issue. In putting it together, the most time- consuming part for me was removing one of the zip ties and tightening one of the nuts! Watching and hearing the assembly steps on YouTube was easier for me than reading the instructions. I am a small 83-year-old woman so it took much longer than the 15 minutes the manual said, but I did it all by myself. It works well and I look forward to using it on cold, dark, humid, or rainy mornings when I can't walk.

Arrived with a defect...
My climber has a problem. It appears that one of the nylon wheels is out of round or something like that is amiss. The up an down action is noisy and rough so something is wrong. There are two of these barrel shaped wheels one on each downtube right below and opposite the foot pedal. My machine is clunking and scraping when I use it. I've processed a refund and ordered another one so I'll update once it arrives and I've had time to use it. My initial impression is that this is a good quality exercise machine that is sturdy and rates an acceptable build quality for a home gym. I am an exercise enthusiast and have a well-outfitted home gym and I also work out at a premier public gym so I know enough about exercise equipment to speak with authority. Let's see if I simply received a lemon. Update 1/23/15 I received another unit and it isn't much better. Sliding motion is rough and uneven through the range of motion. The handles rattle around within the lower body of the unit when I step down on the pedals and the whole movement is anything but fluid or smooth. I'm a bit surprised by all the raving reviews which makes me a bit suspicious. I have spent quite a bit on high quality equipment (see my reviews) so I have a good frame of reference for what good quality exercise equipment is...or isn't. This is good quality, but no more than that. It is home gym quality and even then at the lower end. It is stable but isn't a heavy piece of equipment so it doesn't take much to get it rattling a bit or teetering slightly. My biggest complaint is the lack of fluidity throughout the up and down stepping motion. It is rough and uneven as I've previously stated. If you're on a budget and have limited space this is a good choice. I think I'll keep it - I like the climbing motion since it hits large number of muscles (groups) given the limits of the exercise that can be performed. I looked at the Versa Climber but at $2000+ I don't think it is 10 times superior to this unit. Maybe half that. I'm trying to find a used Versa Climber. There are no other alternatives to the Maxi and Versa for home use, that I can find. Update 1/26/15 Since this machine seems to be getting a lot of attention I thought I would share my final impression/outcome. The fluidity of the original machine with the bad roller was actually superior to that of the second (replacement) So, I took off the bad roller (it had a crack in it which explains the noise and grinding when exercising) from the original and substituted it with one from the replacement. It worked. The now reconstituted machine has a better rolling motion and resistance that seems to improve some with usage. I think the machine could earn 4 stars since I do like it. However, quality control seems poor and as the commenter on my review suggests there may be some used machines being sold as new, which means they were returns. That suggests a quality control problem and lack of care from the manufacturer. Mine didn;t appear used but had some scratches and dings that I attributed to shipping....but who knows. So the hassle factor is high if I have to order more than one product to actually obtain a good one then disassemble and return the other(s). Therefore one star penalty for poor quality control. Update 5/11/15 Innova USA was the seller on this product when I bought it. They reached out to me and sent out new rollers that I'll install and update my results. Good for them for trying to make things right. They maintain a storefront here on Amazon.

Maxi climber è arrivato in anticipo e l’ho subito provato. Da allora lo uso tutti i giorni e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative. L’attrezzo è robusto e non molto ingombrante. Per quanto riguarda l’allenamento, lavorano soprattutto le gambe ma anche la parte superiore del corpo. Promosso a pieni voti.

Excelente!!!! Fácil de montar, robusta, original y sencilla. Me ha encantado. La he usado nada más montarla y la sensación, mejor que ir a correr. Trabajas todo el cuerpo y es muy dinámica. Le pongo un diez.

After 2 months of using this machine, I can definitely say that this was an investment that I am certainly seeing satisfactory results. I received this equipment before COVID 19 lockdown and at that point I realized that this is my saving grace since the gym would no longer be an option. So my journey began with just 5-7 minutes per day, 5 days a week, because I underestimated how much it causes you to burn. Each week I progressed by adding more time to my workout. Today, I am clocking 1 hour sessions each workout. With the right music to pump you up and the Youtube MaxiClimber workout videos the time passes really fast. Since I started I have lost 3/4 of an inch from my waist. I am 5"3 and 118 lbs of winter fat. I wanted to burn at least 5 lbs but with my quarantine diet and snacking my weight remains the same but my waistline and my body is toning nicely. If I should have a comment on negatives I would say that: - standing on those pedals after 1 hour does hurt the balls of your feet. - had to request replacement lower handle bars because the original would not fit in the slot. Got the new ones in 2 weeks - it best not to exercise on a carpet because friction during exercise causes the metal to shave off. There is usually metal dust all over the floor. - it does make a considerable amount of noise, at one point I thought it was broken. - you need to go straight to the shower once your workout is done. Because in my case it is like a bucket of water was dashed on me. I boast to my circle of friends about this equipment. All in all for you to get results you will have to dedicate time and passion. This is not an overnight muscle building machine but it does the job well in maintaining a toned structure.
