update - seller's customer support follow up after 2 days, the product is still in warranty, replacement sent in within 3 days after I left my shipping address. Quick and easy, no hassle!!Work well for half year, but recently the inner heat elements stop works after that.I don't know how long the warranty works on this item, can't find support on Amazon, it tells me to look for support through the seller.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Size

It is a nice alternative to the oem triple haliant element for a quarter of the price. It is not an exact match as the individual elements have a different patern and the spade connectors are of a different size. This element comes with the required adapter wires to accommodate the different size spades. Ours were located in the very bottom of the packaging under the bottom styrofoam. The elements pattern has no effect on the heating/cooking capabilities that I can notice. I was a initially a little concerned about purchasing with reading other reviews about the elements ceramic being broke or having cracks from shipping/packaging. Ours had not one crack in the base or the outer ring. After opening and inspecting it literally look 10-15 minutes to install. Unplug stove or turn breaker off. Remove 2 screws under the front edge and lift it up. Some people recommend complete removal of the cooktop and placing it upside down on a solid surface. I found if I propped it up with a piece of scrap trim, that I had more than enough room to swap it out. Once it's propped up, remove wires(remember location/take pic) using a pair of pliers and grabbing the terminal and gently wiggling with a little pressure, they come right off. Then use a flat screwdriver to remove the 3 retention clips and it's out. Install the new one in reverse order, plug in the stove and you should be go. Ours has been in for a little over 3 months and is still going strong, it gets used pretty regularly. If something changes with it, I will edit my review.

Gets hot very fast, had to adjust the clamps because they were a little small by stretching the metal
