Will this incense holder hold Japanese incense? These are sticks, no straws, the tip is the same size as the base of the incense. Can burn tip to base

Unfortunately no, but I used knife to sharpen edges of Japanese incense so I can fit in holder and it works fine. But yes, originaly it’s not for sticks.

For the reviewers saying this doesn't catch the ashes, are you using the tall sticks or the shorter ones? I have 5.5 inch Japanese style sticks.
