Really impressive.This charger is the ideal replacement for my surface pro 9. You get a nice long cable that charges at speed and works perfectly when using the surface with this connected. Excellent charger. If i could give more than 5 stars then I would!

I know that there’s a caution label for the heat it generates but I didn’t expect it to actually burn my skin off!

Microsoft Surface Charger 102WUsed on a Surface book and the charger charged the laptop just fine. This has the usual the magnetic interface that have been used over the many different models of Microsoft products.102W and the model is of the 1798 standards.The charger itself is well built, does feel very similar to an original albeit slightly lighter however, not by much. The charger does get warm while in use however, not too hot that you can't you can't touch it.The laptop was also warm however, no warmer than the usual temperature while using the original charger.The charger also does have a 5V USB-A built within the charging adapter also like the original.From experience within computers over the many years these are interchangeable with other devices so are safe to use on other models but most won’t charge any faster than the original 44W or 65W.As most 44W chargers that are shipped out with most surface device they are 15v which is the same as this 102w charger.So if you looking for a high W then by all means this for me worked out just fine however, just don't expect faster levels of charging.The only consideration i believe this would work well with if you have the studio which then this may actually help prevent battery drain during work loads that relies on the GPU.Overall the cable is thicker than the original 44w and 65w chargers, didn't get extremely hot although its does get warm like all the others chargers.Only downside would be you might not need a 102w replacement charger but that all depends on your needs other than that couldn't really find a negative or fault with the product.

Great value 3rd party charger for Microsoft Surface Laptop.Charger connects with no issues & stays inplace.It appears to charging at the advertised speed.Very happy with this.
