We purchased this punch for my husband to use for leather working. When we received it, the round metal plate was missing. We contacted the seller and they sent another model free of charge. Shipping was fast and new product was what we ordered. We are very pleased. This will make leather working easier. Recommend this product and seller.

Nice product overall.Pros-*much more quite than having to hammer at 2am in the morning =P*With the drill attachment you can you hole punches, and even add your stitching punches in there ( I would get a cheap round set)*with the press it comes with you can stamp initials and names or logos so much easier*Over all its so much more quite, the punches and leather stitching punches do their job with ease and make very clean and very consistent punches.The neg!Honestly there is nothing wrong with the press its just quality of life issues here lol.So if you want to raise and lower you have to use the Allen wrench and loosen the bolts to raise and lower which maybe thumb screws would be better?? IDk maybe not.I wish the plat form for laying ur leather on for stamping was just a tad bigger but its ok.Once you figure out what height you need for punching etc I would recommend adding a line with a marker or tape or something cause it really sucks putting it to a certain place then if being to high or to low and having to unscrew the bolts again and adjust and do it again.

The product is as pictured and it arrived well packaged. This is not a high-end tool. After using a grinder to modify the anchor holes in the base, it met my needs. The post clamping mechanism is of moderate build quality. As long as you're not going to be working it hard, it should meet your needs.

I love it. You can use it to punch stitch lines, snap buttons, rivets, cookie-cutter leather, etc. It is a great machine and has fast delivery.

I was going to give this 5 stars last week and I’m glad I didn’t. I’ve used this maybe 50 times and the Allen bolts on the rear already stripped out the cast iron. Junk material. Don’t buy.

This is fantastic! I love this press as it makes things so much easier and much quieter. Very easy to use and set up.

This unit is great because it allows you to swing the plate away and then swing it back once your clicker die and leather is ready to cut or make impressions. Lower the plate down to just the top of what you are pressing. Pull the main lever and press down firmly. Move larger clicker dies around to make cuts. You might have re-press until it cuts through leather. I have not use the included chuck for punching leather yet.
