Good Addition
I have Zombicide Black Plague and the Wulfsburg expansions and I was looking to get the Zombicide Green Horde game as well at a decent price. That time finally came and I'm glad that we managed to get it.Thus far, we have played the intro quest and 2 additional quests. We really like the addition of the new mechanics: trebuchet, watering holes/ledges, hedges, barriers, hordes, deadlier enemies, and new characters. We would definitely gives this game a thumbs up without hesitation at this time. I'd still like to get the Friends and Foes and No Rest for the Wicked expansions to complement my Green Horde/Black Plague sets. We have yet to combine other Zombicide games with Green Horde so I cannot speak to that experience. The only con is that some rules, like Zombicide Black Plague, can be vague and you either consider your own house rules for that particular rule or you consult the internet/board game forums. This is a minor issue, but at times it can be a little annoying because the rule may not be entirely clear. To be fair, this happens with a lot of board games. My son, 10, is more independent at playing the game at this point because he has played Zombicide Black Plague and Wulfsburg. My daughter, 6, requires help with strategy, but is able to play with us. However, because we play a lot of board games already, that gives her an advantage compared to most 6 year olds.Once you learned the rules, I think it is easy enough to explain to others. We had my son's friend over to play, 9 years old, and he really liked it and caught on reasonably quick. If you're coming from Black Plague, you'll really like Green Horde and the experience it provides.

Zombicide medieval con invasión de orcos y goblins
La aparición de la horda de orcos al juego entrega una mecánica que simula una invasión al estilo Lord of the rings...

WOW! What A Game
Compared to the original Zombicide, this one is even better. New weapons and mechanics. Now the board is even more diverse due to new terrain game styles. Core rules are the same as the original game. This game introduces a new mechanic called the Horde and new game weapon piece, the Trebuchet. The only downside are the zombie game pieces. Initially, it is difficult to distinguish the runner zombies to the walker zombies. On the upside, their hero game piece now has a color border that can be attached to make it easy to identify. Also, the way to organize each player and the inventory is just amazing. Disclaimer, if you have not played this series yet then the rules will be complicated. However, with a few video tutorials, the rules become much simpler to understand.

Missing a board
Just opened it up and played the quest 0 and as I was putting it away I noticed that I was missing one player board, the one you put your character and equipment. That's the only reason why I wouldn't make it 5, overall, I love the game

Outstanding game...fun, easy to learn, great quality
My kids absolutely love this game. It is fun, easy to pick up and learn and you can play it over and over. They are already asking for addons and other versions of the game.

Extremely hard to learn
I gave it 3 stars because it was so difficult to learn, we spent hours reading and then re-reading and then watching videos and then reading and then watching videos and we still got it wrong. You are left with a lot of questions and the answers are hard to find. For reference, I've learned Scythe in 2 hours and was able to play it properly the same night. Now don't get me wrong, I do love the game, its just ridiculous how much work i had to put into it.I would say only buy this game is you know someone who knows how to play it properly.

Is This The Best RPG Miniatures Board Game Out There?
I enjoy many of these types of game, both fantasy and sci-fi (Descent, D&D Adventure System, Arcadia Quest, Ninja All Stars, Imperial Assault, Doom, etc etc) and I really like them all, but having now played all the Massive Darkness Quests in the book and the six from the Lave/Crystals expansion, I consider myself in an experienced position to say that I believe this to be possibly THE best game of this genre currently on the market. (1) its thematically conducive for solo play (i.e. yourself against the game AI) though I DO advise if you play by your lonesome.. run with two or three heroes as the increased options this will allow in game will increase dramatically. (2) the game when set up is beautiful... which means immersion and suspension of disbelief is that much more intense. (3) the game comes with a LOT, and should keep any reasonable gamer happy for many months of endless play, but the sheer amount of additional expansion material for Massive Darkness is quite staggering, and means there is potential to explore this game for years of game play fun. (4) the miniatures are truly beautiful and delightful to handle and play with. I have heard some say there is not enough variety (with lots of similar mob types, i.e. Dwarves, Goblins, and Orcs.. all in the same pose) but this does not bother me at all. I still managed to paint my entire core game in fivedays (sheer slog, but worth it): but for me the numbers of similar creatures make the game thematically richer. The D&D Adventure System Boardgame perhaps fails simply because of the opposite effect. Too many different monster types makes the dungeon feel like a mish-mashof incongruous dungeon denizens, which just doesn't sit well with the logical ecology of the thing. Where as Massive Darkness gives you LESS variety, but this enhances theme and the realistic feel and tone no end. I actually like to imagine my own Massive Darkness Games to exist somewhere in Middle Earth, but that`s just me: but yeah thematically this game fits that image nicely (images of dungeon delves into Moria come to mind with flowing ease). Finally, the game combines seamlessly with Zombicide Green Horde (but you WILL need to purchase the crossover pack to do so), which will add even MORE options to expand the game further. All in all, I believe that YES, Massive Darkness may well be THE best RPG boardgame out there.
