An inexpensive, lightweight cover that does what it promises – keeps debris off the top of your car. The hatchback size was a good fit for our Honda Fit, the adjustable straps worked fine to pull in the extra parts so they fit better. It appears to be styled for a more squared off hatchback like a GTI, so it might fit that even better.Ours is in an open carport, so it’s already protected from overhead and won’t be subject to the full elements as it would be if just parked in the open. For this role, the cover works well to keep dirt from building up on the windows. I’m not sure the cover would fare well in heavy winds, though. Although, at this price, you could just buy a new one every year.

I ordered this car cover for my son's convertible. I really wasn't sure which size to order, and there wasn't really much guidance that could help me figure it out. I went with the hatchback option, which I thought might work because it was on the smaller size, but it's not great.First of all, the instructions that come with the cover are sparse. I'm still not sure about how to secure this thing. Second of all, it's kind of huge and difficult to manage, while at the same time being too small in the front. Again, this might be because I ordered the wrong size/shape, but the front would not cover the front of my son's little sportscar if I positioned the rearview mirrors inside the protrusions on the cover. Also, there was no hole or space for an antenna, so I had to run the cover up and around the antenna.It's going to do the job I bought it for - to keep rain from leaking through the convertible top while it sits in my driveway for a few months before it is relocated to a garage. It's not an expensive cover, so the expectations of fit and durability shouldn't be high to begin with.

I used this car cover on a standard sedan and it worked well. It typically takes my car 5-10 minutes of blasting the A/C to cool down. With this cover, it only took about 2-5 minutes. I like how it only covers the windows so it's easier to deploy and undo. The material on the inside is soft so it won't scratch your paint. It's a bit difficult to put on due to its large footprint, but it does the job. It feels a bit cheap so I'm not sure how long this will last. Other than that, this is a nice car cover.

On a relatively calm day, I had no problems at all with getting this cover onto my vehicle (a Subaru Forester). The straps adjust length smoothly and provide good security. While the plastic(?) hooks seem sturdy enough, they don't inspire so much confidence that heavy winds won't worry me a bit. Nevertheless, they do hold and clip into all of the spots where I placed them: wheel spokes, under quarter panels, behind front and rear bumpers, even the slender gap between side doors.in preparation for putting on the cover, I carefully unscrewed the radio antenna from its roof mount, just as I could for loading cargo up there. I just have to remember to put it back in place next time I drive.As for fit, finish and function, i will add that the material is soft and supple, with side mirror "ears" at just the right location, and the fore/aft dimensions cover my car's windows 100%. On a hot, sunny day, I believe this will make a significant difference in interior temperature, which is my primary objective.

So, at this price, how can I really complain? Anyway, it's very thin, the elastic straps are also very thin. I live in Florida, and my prediction is that it will last 6 months max, mostly due to the UV rays. Even if the cover makes it past 6 months, the straps never will. 3 stars because it's inexpensive, and at least useable. I got this mostly to protect the top on my old convertible. Hopefully I'll be parking it in the garage before it gives out.

I really like this cover, actually wish i knew it existed before as I was using a tarp to achieve the same thing. The cover is made of what seems to be a good material its not too thin and not super thick. Its obviously waterproof and comes with Hooks to tie it down to the car. It fits my classic car perfectly.
