NutriChef
I absolutely love my NutriChef air fryer! The large glass cooking container is one of my favorite features because I can see my food as it cooks without constantly opening the fryer. I love that it allows me to prepare delicious meals while feeling confident about using a healthier cooking option with a glass design. It’s easy to clean, much quieter that other air fryers I’ve used, and the overall design and quality are impressive. The only improvement I would love to see is a better locking or guiding system for the container to ensure it is always placed correctly before use. If the container is not pushed in completely, the plastic area near the heat can melt. Other than that, I highly recommend the NutriChef air fryer to anyone looking for a spacious, convenient, and reliable cooking appliance!

Great air fryer that cooks in no time
Just tried this cool looking air fryer with a heavy glass blow and a stainless steel grid to hold your food air fried four skinless chicken thighs in 35min at 355F. At first the fryer would not heat up even with the power light on I decided to pull the glass bowl half way out and pushed it in so I guess it was my seated all the way and all ok. My wife and I had two small air fryers a few years ago and were not impressed but this one is larger with a glass bowl so you can see how your food is cooking looks great on our kitchen counter top We decided to use it on on wooden kitchen table mainly it had enough room for the heat to escape also with our new updated kitchen cabinets did not want the heat to affect them Just make sure to wear a good pot holder glide because this baby gets hot also used a large hot plate to place the Glass bowl on to cool and remove the food.At 355f 35 min May have been ok but next time we will cook them go 30min I had added some Avocado oil to them which made them crispy and we will add spices too

visually monitor their cooking in real time.
he NutriChef 5.8QT Glass Air Fryer is a standout appliance in a crowded market dominated by standard plastic-and-metal baskets. By replacing the traditional opaque drawer with heavy-duty borosilicate glass, it addresses two of the biggest complaints users have about air fryers: chemical coatings flaking off and having to constantly open the basket to check on food. Overall, it earns a 4.2 out of 5 stars. It is an exceptional choice for health-conscious cooks and design enthusiasts, though it requires a bit more physical care than a traditional metal appliance. The Pros: Where It Excites Toxin-Free, Healthy Cooking: The number one reason to buy this model is the tempered glass basket. Traditional air fryers rely on Teflon-style non-stick coatings that can degrade, scratch, or emit chemical odors when heated to high temperatures. Glass is entirely inert, non-toxic, and naturally scratch-resistant, giving you total peace of mind. The "TV Window" Effect: The halogen/radiant heating element glows bright orange when it’s actively running. Paired with the 360-degree clear view, you don't have to guess when your food is done. You can watch your fries turn golden brown or your plantains caramelize perfectly without opening the basket and letting precious heat escape. Superior Cleanup: Unlike metal baskets with intricate plastic grates that trap grease, glass is incredibly smooth and non-porous. It doesn't absorb food odors (like fish), and cleanup is as simple as letting it cool and rinsing it with soap, or dropping the basket right into the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Sleek Countertop Aesthetic: When it sits on the counter, it looks high-end and modern. The minimalist digital control panel on top responds quickly, and the glowing basket gives your kitchen a sleek, futuristic vibe while cooking. The Cons: Things to Keep in Mind Weight and Ergonomics: Glass is significantly heavier than thin aluminum or plastic baskets. Shaking a full basket of fries mid-cycle requires a sturdy grip, and you have to be careful when handling it or setting it down on hard granite countertops (it usually includes a silicone trivet mat for this reason). The "Fingerprint Magnet" Top: The sleek black digital touchscreen on top looks great, but it easily collects fingerprint smudges and grease marks from your hands, requiring frequent quick wipes to keep it looking pristine. Maximum Temperature Cap: This unit maxes out at 390°F, whereas a few competitor models can reach 400°F or 450°F for hyper-fast searing. Because of the excellent convection airflow, it still crisps beautifully, but it might take an extra minute or two for heavy meats. Performance Notes Fries & Sides: Exceptional. The included elevated stainless steel mesh tray allows hot air to rush underneath the food, giving you a remarkably uniform crunch without requiring much oil. Baking & Reheating: Because glass retains heat exceptionally well, this unit acts like a true mini-oven. It is phenomenal for crisping up leftovers or baking small batches of items without drying the interiors out.

No toxic non-stick coating. this is easy to clean & the best air-fryer I've ever used.
This is fantastic. I had the standard air fryer with the black non-stick coating. I treated it carefully but eventually I found a scratch in it. Since I know the health risks involved in toxic leaks in the non-stick coating., I cut the cord off and took it to the curb for the garbage. I decided to look for a glass one, and I love it. No risk of toxic scratches to the surface, it holds so much more than the old one, and I can actually make soup in it. It also cooks & browns beautifully. I do, however, keep a towel or small wooden cutting board in front of the fryer so I can pull out the glass pot straigh. I don't have to the heavy, hot pot. That is really the only drawback I see, and that is easily solved.

Nice but
Generally wonderful. I don't care for the presets and wish they could be changed to what I need. And the glass bowl is HEAVY. Nice to see inside, very quiet, cooks well, cleans easily. If the controls were flexible or intuitive, it would be an all star.

Good buy
I like the Nutrichef Air Fryer with the glass basket. Before cooking any food, I hand-washed the basket and metal tray, then did a dry run at 390 temp for 20 minutes to remove that new product smell. There was noticeable plastic and a heat element odor. After the first 20-minute dry run, I washed the basket again and then repeated the same dry-run cycle 2 more times. I cooked salmon, carrots, and sweet potatoes, and there wasn’t any new product smell during cooking. The air fryer cooked the meal well. It’s easy to select the cooking settings. The glass basket is heavy but manageable. The control panel would have been better in the front instead of the top. The glass basket handle does get very warm in long cooking times but not burning hot. I use a heat-resistant glove to grab the handle during food tossing and when the cooking cycle is completed. It’s easy to wash the glass basket. It’s a good value for the money. Hopefully it will be a reliable air fryer. Cooked honey mustard salmon, honey maple carrots, sweet potatoes, baby gold potatoes seasoned with olive oil, brown sugar, ground cinnamon and salt. It was cooked good and tasty. Also, made air fryer flour tortilla pepperoni pizza.

Great air fryer
I'm very pleased with this air fryer. I downsized from double drawer air fryer, but this one is plenty big enough for pretty much anything I need to make for just two people. I have a rack from an old air fryer that fits in here perfectly so I can maximize the vertical space by cooking in layers. You do need to flip food halfway through if you want it to be brown or crispy on both sides. As other reviewers have stated the glass basket is very heavy. I use an oven mitt to hold the bottom when I pull it out of the housing unit. In my previous air fryers I pretty much cooked everything at 400°, but this one I'm using the presets and it seems to cook very well on those without adding much extra time at the lower settings. I've had this a couple of months and still playing with the correct times and temps for some items that aren't presets, but overall I'm very happy with this airfryer and really appreciate that I'm not cooking on toxic surfaces anymore.

Very Happy with Purchase
After researching over a dozen different air fryers, I chose this Nutrichef and it has not disappointed at all. I love that it has a glass basket instead of plastic. It seems to be made well and I've used it multiple times to cook chicken, meatloaf, roasted potatoes, and more. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent first air fryer purchase!!
Very impressed so far. This is the first air fryer I have bought and can see why people opt to use these over traditional deep fryers. Due to having celiac I had to stop frying my food in contaminated oil so I thought I’d cook my gluten free food in an air fryer instead. Further I was worried about non stick coatings which eventually peel and cause harm when accidentally consumed so I wanted a glass dish to prevent that. Lastly I needed one which was not too bulky but not so small that I can’t cook a decent meal in. This ticked all the boxes, this is the first ever air fryer I have used and the food I made was cooked perfectly. The clean up was very easy with minimal scrubbing. It looks great on the counter top and barely has a footprint larger than a A4 sheet of paper. The quality seems excellent. Further due to it having a glass bowl you can see how the food is cooking without having to open it which wastes energy and time. I would highly recommend this in general and if you are health conscious trying to avoid none stick coating air fryers. Thank you

We recommend it, very useful
I bought this for my daughter's dorm room and she's very happy with it. It's easy to clean and she can keep track of what she's cooking through the glass container.

Chemical free air frying
I spent a long time researching air fryers before buying one because I specifically wanted to avoid nonstick coatings, forever chemicals (PFAS/PTFE), and the overheating issues that seem to come up in a lot of reviews (and recalls). The glass cooking bowl/carafe on this model was a huge selling point for me because it feels much cleaner and safer compared to many chem coated basket-style air fryers. After comparing brands this was one of the few models that checked all the boxes I cared about (fewer reported safety concerns, no traditional nonstick coating in the cooking area, and a simple design that’s easy to clean and monitor while cooking.) So far, it’s worked really well. Food cooks evenly, it heats quickly, and I like being able to actually see the food through the glass while it cooks, and its easy enough for my lazy teenagers to use. It also feels sturdier and less “chemical/plastic” than many other air fryers I looked at. The bowl/basket is heavy so extra care needs to be taken when holding it, but rarely do you have to carry it anywhere other than a few inches from the base. There's also a silicone trivet/mat thingy that is included to set the hot bowl down on, that is put directly in front of the base when in use. This is the best air fryer if you're trying to avoid unnecessary Teflon like coatings or forever chemicals or want a more old school/simple small cooking appliance instead of using the oven every time, but this one is definitely worth considering.
