51mm Portafilter 3 Ears with Double Spout Compatible for Delonghi Dedica EC680/EC685/EC785/EC820/EC850/EC860, Espresso Portafilter 51mm with Double Shot Capacity Cup Filter Basket and Wooden Handle

I searched for replacement portafilters for my Farberware espresso machine (purchased at Walmart) for a LONG time, ordering several that didn’t fit and I couldn’t return. I finally figured out it was a 51mm 3 ear and this one was a perfect fit, so I bought three to use as spares!

I don't get it - we've tried multiple coffees, multiple grinds, multiple weights of coffee in the basket, even different baskets, and every time it bubbles in the spouts where the coffee exits the portafilter. Sometimes it sprays everywhere. Waste of money and sick of doing emergency laundry to get the coffee spray off my clothes before the stain sets. We have the Delonghi Dedica Arte.

Works great for Cuisinart EM-100 espresso machine. Much more sturdy then the factory portafilter.

This is a beautiful, stainless, heavy duty portafilter that fits my DeLonghi Dedica Deluxe. The handle is much nicer in person than in the pictures, with a very smooth satin finish and lovely rosewood color. Unfortunately, the description does not tell the maximum depth of the portafilter, and it turns out that it is quite a bit more shallow than the DeLonghi OEM basket (with plastic insert removed). So, a 4cup 36mm basket is just slightly too tall to fit, although a 3cup 32mm basket fits fine. Since the whole point of having a dual spout for me was to make coffee for 2 people at once (at 2 shots apiece), this is not going to work for me. Also, it should be noted that the ear size is quite a bit shorter than on the OEM portafilter. I've found this to lead to regular gasket blowouts on other similarly made aftermarket portafilters I've purchased in the past.

Fit is perfect! Handle feels solid, Basket is functional. The spout is removable: however, the threading is rough and takes considerable care to keep from cross-threading. Recommended, albeit with considerations.
