Powerful Sound in a Small Package!
I absolutely love this Beats Pill speaker! The sound quality is impressive for its size โ clear highs, rich mids, and surprisingly deep bass. It gets loud without sounding distorted, which makes it perfect for both indoor use and small gatherings. The Bluetooth connection is quick and easy, and it pairs seamlessly with my phone every time. I also love how portable it is โ lightweight with a convenient strap, so I can take it anywhere. The battery life is solid and lasts for hours, and the design is sleek and stylish. Overall, it delivers exactly what it promises: powerful, high-quality sound in a compact speaker. Definitely a 5-star purchase!

Great Portable Bluetooth Speaker
I am in love with this little speaker. It's a great size for my apartment. I love that it is bluetooth and connects very easily to my iPhone. Connecting it to my phone was quick and easy. I have found the battery lasts a good long time, Itโs very portable, not very heavy (lightweight). I can easily move it around indoors and outdoors. It is solid, good quality and has worked really well for me, Highly recommended

Used Beats Pill 2024 still great.
I bought this used in "acceptable" condition, with no description as to actual condition. The previous two "acceptable" ones came with somewhat minor dents, but no original packaging, charge cord, or instructions. One of them smelled like something like Febreeze had been sprayed or rubbed on it. This one, the cheapest I have seen in this color, has no discernible scratches or dents and looks new, , arrived in the original, but extremely taped box, and had cord, instructions, and stickers. Jackpot! It should have been classified as "very good" or even, "like new." It sounds great, with movie theater very present bass sound. A little weak in the midrange when quiet or loud, but may be fixable in firmware, as may connectivity issues. As has been noted in other user reviews, it gets disconnected rather frequently for no discernible reason, is hard to maintain in paired modes for this reason, and makes a rather loud noise when turning on and off. One reviewing site reviewer downgraded it for having to hold the on /off button too long to turn it on and off. 2 or 3 seconds is too long? This is actually a great design feature that keeps it from accidentally turning off or on while in a bag or backpack while taking camping or to the beach. To prevent dents in transit I suggest keeping the well-designed protective box. Though I suspect the dented speakers were dropped. None of the carrying cases designed for this version of the Beats Pill, that I have ordered, had any real padding. If the case is hard enough this may not matter, but one was easily mushable. I'm thinking of just using the box. The only case I've found with real padding, and a nicely hard shell, is the co2CREA Hard Travel Case Replacement for JBL Flip 6 FLIP 5 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker Case. (This can be found cheaply in Amazon Resale in like -new condition.). The Pill fits snugly in this, though it mushes down the divider, but still leaves room for the charging cable and a plug in charger. The original Pill colors: red, gold, and black, come with a black plastic charging cord. The Kim Kardashian Pills come with cords that match the Pill color, and cross-hatched fiber covering, which may be better quality than the black cords? They are stiffer! The main feature that I went with the Pill for is the "Lossless listening." The ability to plug in the Pill directly to your device without having to use bluetooth. We have so much radiation already with wi-fi, phone, radio, and tv signals broadcasted all around us, I prefer not to have to add bluetooth to the mix. Plus the sound quality is better. Speakers that can use wi-fi also get better sound quality than bluetooth because of better bandwith. Though the Pill as yet has no online equalizer as other better quality speakers do, I find it does a great job adjusting to different kinds of audio, unlike say, an Echo Show 8, which has glorious stereo spatial audio sound, but has a hard time playing simple podcast and news talking voices understandably because of too heavy bass. But this can be adjusted with its online on speaker equalizer, lowering the bass to zero. The Pill automatically adjusts.

A nice improvement from the previous model
This is my third Beats pill, first of this new generation. It's a bit smaller, lighter and easier to carry around, especially with the new wrist strap. It sounds amazing, right along with what you come to expect from Beats and Apple, it doesn't disappoint. The biggest difference I've noticed is how quickly it pairs with devices compared to previous models. It's also incredibly easy to switch between devices after the initial pairing of each; I just start playing whatever media on iphone, ipad, or macbook and then select the pill for the output and it connects in a second. It also now shows up on Find My along with your other devices, and from my understanding, works the same as an AirTag which is pretty cool. The only downside is the power button. It took a while to get used to and sometimes I still wind up trying two or three times to power it up or down because I didn't hold it down long enough. I've also had an issue where the audio cuts out for a couple seconds here and there but haven't pinned down the cause of the interference. Overall it's a solid speaker, great sound, very loud for its size, longer battery life and better connectivity. They're even cheaper than the previous model and go on sale often so you can't go wrong.

More Or Less The Same As My Old One ๐๐
My new speaker arrived yesterday. Itโs very similar to my old one as you can tell from the picture. I DO like that it DOES seem lighter than my old one in weight. The sound seems the same, too. ๐ Oh, I also really like the little โwristletโ that the new one comes with, too. (I just got the newer one because the battery was really not as good anymore.) But the red color is also the same as my old one. Also, I noticed that turning off is SLIGHTLY different than my old one, too. Itโs a bit more complicated: it goes into โpairing modeโ before turning off completely for some reason. I do not know why Apple/Beats change this or why it is โusefulโ, especially if it already โpairedโ with your device, but โฆ ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ One thing that I noticed while charging it, through, is that the green charging light turned off BEFORE the battery was fully charged to 100%; it was still at like 96% when the light turned off. I donโt know if I got one that malfunctioned or if thatโs just how it is. Anyway, it finally did charge to 100%โWITHOUT the green light on or off so โฆ ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ Another thing thatโs a bummer is how short the charging cable is (only 20 cm) that it came with. I brought an extra longer one directly through the Apple website, along with another wall plug-in, to make it easier (for me) to charge โฆ ๐ And, finally, I have NO idea what was spilled on the box before delivery, but I am SO glad it didnโt get on the speaker! It is water RESISTANT, NOT โcoke-proofโ or โcoffee-proofโ โฆ ๐๐

Full, Clean Sound in a Portable Design
The Beats Pill Portable Bluetooth Speaker delivers a surprisingly balanced listening experience for a speaker designed to be portable. The sound is full and energetic, with enough low-end presence to give music weight without overwhelming the mids or making everything feel artificially bass-heavy. What stands out most is how easily it fills a space. Whether used indoors, outside, or while moving between rooms, the speaker projects sound with a clarity and scale that feels larger than its footprint suggests. Vocals remain clean, and the overall tuning feels more controlled and refined than many portable speakers that prioritize volume alone. The design also feels thoughtfully resolved. The shape is simple and tactile, the finish understated, and the portability genuinely practical rather than gimmicky. Battery life holds up well in everyday use, which makes it easy to treat as part of a routine rather than something that constantly needs charging. Thereโs a certain effortlessness to it overall. It doesnโt try to sound aggressively engineered or hyper-technicalโit simply delivers strong, immersive sound in a form that integrates naturally into daily life.

Itโs amazing, truly a 10/10 product. Everything was thought about.
Native iOS/MacOS one touch pairing and Find My support, works just like the AirPods Pro 3 do as an official Apple speaker. Insane 24 hour battery life, pass thru charging and wired lossless audio support for Apple Music. It fits perfectly into my ecosystem and fills the role I needed it for, playing hiphop music while away from my samsung speakerbar on my TV or active bookshelf speakers on my PC. I can place it in about 2-3ft away from me on a flat surface while on the couch or in bed and get great full bodied audio beamed directly to my ears thanks to the 20 degree tilt the speakers have. I rarely turn it above 70%, I live in an apartment and find that much volume to be a good level without making people mad. The sound quality is great and it's soundstage is a lot โbiggerโ than the speaker actually is, the dedicated racetrack (just a bigger oval version of a round one) subwoofer with super strong neodymium magnets and the stabilized silk dome tweeter create a surprisingly full and warm sound that can reach down into the sub frequencies for 808โs in hiphop. Vocals are crispy and very clear without being grating to listen to for long periods, truly fatigue free treble due to the silk dome on the tweeter. Most speakers at this price point ($129) like the Bose Soundlink Flex feature a single or double full spectrum dynamic drivers which can never match a 2 way setup with a woofer and tweeter. The pill delivers for audio quality and I can be quite picky about this, for hiphop it is the perfect Bluetooth speaker and if you listen to it a lot I would recommend this even more. The design has to be tied with sound for my favourite part of the speaker. Soft silicone coats the back and a quality metal grille covers the drivers with a fine mesh blocking out all dust. It feels extremely heavy for the size and this contributes to a general feeling of durability and high build quality. The buttons are intuitively placed and clicky in a satisfying way, the thing is entirely sealed to the outside world with an IP67 rating, the second highest rating a product can get. The USB C port it charges and plays lossless audio with is always exposed, so please allow it to dry before charging for good practice. Overall this is so amazing and is actually a crazy good value, it sounds wrong to say about a beats product but it truly is. You get a lot for a little over $120, a real Apple product with all the features and thoughtfulness you expect from them.

Excellent- Packs a punch, great addition to Apple Ecosystem
Simple to use, very simple to pair within the Apple ecosystem, supporting iCloud pairing and simple initial pair. Can easily get battery information directly from device. AirPlay integration would have been welcome. Controls are simple, although take some practice to get used to. Power button controls both power and pairing. I do wish the Pill could be turned on with one touch of power button. I've yet to test the microphone/speaker function, but that's a nice enough addition. I find the sound great, but I am no audiophile. I intend to use this speaker for what portable speakers are best designed for- travel, beach, patio, etc. It sounds excellent, even at moderate volume. The dual pairing function looks awesome, although not within my use case. Design is sleek and feels solid- but light enough for great portability. The soft touch silicone feels great, although I can foresee being a bit of a dirt magnet, at least on the champagne gold model. The lanyard is a welcome addition, but I do wish it was adjustable- unsure what the point of adding a lanyard is if it cannot be tightened/loosened. USB-C is a great addition, as is fast fuel. Battery life is rated at 24H. Based on early usage, I would believe this to be reasonably accurate. Unit drained about 10% listening to podcasts at ~50% volume. Overall positive first impression. Definitely not a cheap speaker, but you are buying this for the ecosystem integration, good sound, and excellent battery life. Price is pretty on par with similar quality speakers. Beats products are frequently discounted, so maybe wait for a sale.

Typical Apple Quality
This is exactly what you'd expect from an Apple product: excellent build quality, a simple yet futuristic design, and great sound. Of course, it's not meant to compete with high-end audiophile speakers, but for its intended purpose, it performs exceptionally well. Two Pills are needed to fully appreciate the complete sound spectrum.

So far so good!!
Always wanted a really decent speaker and now I have one. Sound quality is fantastic, easy enough to figure out and the battery lasts very well. I additionally have the noise cancelling buds, the solo 3 headphones so I figured the speaker would not disappoint. Highly recommend any beats products.
