Space Food Stick in a Bar... YUUUUMY!
Might date me a bit but i remember as a kid... i LOVED peanut butter flavored "Space Food Sticks"... billed as "what the astronauts ate in space" they were, i think, the first condensed/dense energy "health food" [like] snack of the time... they were SUPER chewy, a little lighter than a tootsieroll... Have tried the 'reeses/peanut butter' and 'cookie & creme' and will try the chocolate when available... so good ! THey are not quite as dense as the 'Space Food' version and they have a very satifying crunchyness to them when first bit into but, they are VERY filling/dense on their own account... if i can recall a shade of the memory from so long ago, i do think they taste much better than the Space Food Sticks but who would not want the taste buds and smelling power of a child being this old, so who knows how much better tthe ONE bars really taste except for a side-by-side taste test (lol). I wonder if i can just eat these ONE bars, Premier Cafe-Latte protein shakes (and maybe some brocolli every so often) and live a healthy life, because if i tought i could, i would (LOL) ... recommended !

Couldn’t ask for a better protein bar.
This is a 10 star product. This and the Barbell Cashew bar are the the gold standard in protein bars. This bar does not taste like a Reece’s per se, but is delicious in its own right. If you love peanut butter, this is for you. A word of caution, the Hershey’s version is a sad disappointment.

Great protein bar option
Does this taste like a peanut butter cup? No. But in all fairness, when I look at the label, it does not promise that. It does have a nice peanut butter flavor and it does not leave a nasty aftertaste like some protein bars do. It is borderline too sweet for my personal taste, but all in all, I would buy it again. Not bad for 18 g protein and only 3 g sugar.

Who knew a protein bar could taste so good?
These are actually really tasty! I found them to be soft with a sleight chewiness, and the peanut butter does remind me of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I think they provide a great value for their cost, they are very filling, and it tastes like a quality product. If you're looking for a delicious protein bar, this one is pretty good.

Great Peanut Butter Flavor!
Definitely helps with my peanut butter craving. Lots of flavor. Great for a grab and go snack while adding protein to my diet. Much cheaper to buy a box then to buy individuals bars at the grocery store. I’m ready to order again.

EXTREMELY tasty but LAXATIVE effect possible!
TL;DR: These bars taste AMAZING but proceed with caution. Unexpected and uncomfortable laxative side effects of MALTITOL may occur, leaving you feeling emptied out and full of regret. This ingredient is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. If you’re not sensitive to this sugar substitute, I 100% recommend these. ***This review is NOT medical advice. Seek the advice of a doctor. Do your own research.*** REVIEW: Seriously one of my FAVORITE protein bars of all time, and 9g of protein isn’t bad considering it almost tastes like a candy bar. I recommend them based on that. However, consider yourself warned of the potential laxative effects of the ingredient MALTITOL. Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the evil ingredient that makes these bars taste so good. Look it up if you haven’t heard of it or the perils of eating too many sugar-free gummy bears. If you choose to proceed and try this product, start at a glacial pace and consider doing so at home with a free schedule to be safe and spare any embarrassment. Hopefully all will be well for you and you can enjoy these delicious protein bars worry-free. Remember the sugar-free gummy bears craze and the hilarious reviews that followed? Yeah. MALTITOL can totally wreck your day. Or week. Depends…. and while you’re at it, you should probably buy some of those, too, if you decide to try these for the first time and go out in public. The Depends, I mean. And get extra TP. Eating too many of these One brand bars that contain Maltitol, or eating them too regularly, can literally put you in a crappy spot. Maltitol is partially metabolized and fermented in the gut. Some potential Maltitol side-effects: • Angry abdomen that won’t stop grumbling…loudly audible from feet away. • Stomach cramps. • Extreme gas and shart potential. • Diarrhea or frequent bathroom trips. • Nausea • The need to cancel your plans. • The possibility of *truly* ruining a date night. • Ruining your work shift. • Feeling disgusting and/or embarrassed. They taste soooo good, but these protein bars can leave you feeling emptied out and full of regret. Just apply the sugar-free gummy bear rule. If you are sensitive to Maltitol or if you don’t know if you are, proceed with caution. DO NOT consume one of these amazing tasting bars the day of OR before a major event if you don’t know how your body will respond. It can take a day or two for your digestive tract to return to normal. Also, wait a few hours after consumption and absolutely sure before attempting to go about your normal schedule or in public. The laxative effect is a delayed one (maybe a 2-4 hours) if you are sensitive to Maltitol. Do NOT eat them before bed or before anything remotely important. Try them on a day when you don’t have any plans, as you may end up stuck in the bathroom. Maybe on a weekend and at home to be safe. I’m not sure how much Maltitol these contain, but there wasn’t a severe onset like the sugar free gummy bears. The gummy bears were worse but the symptoms subsided in 24 hours. With these bars, it took a few days for side effects to initially begin, then TWO DAYS without eating them to return back to normal. Tried one again after those 2 days as a test and was fine. However, when I ate another the next day, the process repeated. So, try these delicious protein bars out SLOWLY, maybe no more than one per day for the first few days. See how your body responds. I suggest not eating more than 2 a day unless you know you can handle it. Do your research… results are individual. Some people can eat one a day and be fine, but 1.5 or 2 bars doesn’t go so well. Some people can all they want and be fine. You might not even be sensitive to this ingredient at all, but many are. Hopefully you can just enjoy these awesome One bars worry-free! Good luck!

Taste amazing
These protein bars are one of my favorite snacks. The quality is very good and it is very filling to get me over to my next meal. The freshness is good and I definitely prefer this to the Hershey’s cookies and cream version.
