I know taste. Don't care about the science of coffee. That said, these filters work far better and somehow make better coffee than any other filters I've used. I throw these in my Oxo 8-Cup, and proceed to turbo charge my day. These filters are thin but super strong. Never had an issue after using hundreds of these.

These filters made all the difference. Almost gave up on the Kalita wave after trying to brew Yrgacheffe ten times with inferior filters. I had a strainer in the bottom of the Kalita to keep the filter off the holes and it still clogged horribly despite using a coarse grind with a quality burr grinder. Finally I rembered I bought the cheap generic filters. Tried these - got them delivered four hours after ordering - and viola! A perfect cup of light roast Yrgacheffe! If you are using a metal Kalita, I highly advise using the Danco 1 7/8" strainer in the bottom - a great hack to improve the brewing experience.

These filters fit several third party coffee pour over sets designed for 185 filters. While others make 185 filters, these are the originals. The paper seems pretty thick, but water flows through them just fine. I grind coffee to a size so that my pour over timing is similar to a V60 routine.

Absolutely perfect and well priced for a Kalita Wave 185 size filter.

Got them because I read you can use them in the Espro Bloom. You can *kinda* use them... They are much shorter than the espro originals so if you're not super on the ball, you'll end up with the filter crumpled at the bottom of the basket and you pouring water around it. Now, if you learn the trick of pouring reeeeally slowly to keep the filter sort of suspended throughout the whole process and without collapsing, and you really can't find the espro originals anymore, you can make it work. But if you're lucky enough and still able to score some original filters for your Bloom, go with the originals! Much much less headache. Note: all the above is if you, like me, are getting these for your Bloom. As filters in general, they are good quality and work great, hence the 5 stars.

It fits 155 drippers just fine which is great so I can use the same dripper for 1-3 people.

I'm quite sensitive to smell and usually avoid white paper filter as some other brand I tried left a hint of bleach in contact with hot water. But this one is almost no noticeable after few ml of hot water rinse. Will definitely buy it again.
