I was surprised that this bargain priced item came with everything, including a nice carrying case. The spare battery is a nice touch to keep things working. The battery charge lasted long enough for me, at least 30 minutes of continuous operation. I have never used one of these before. I'm working on my back yard, leveling the dirt and building a couple of retaining walls. This did everything I needed. I didn't use all the accessories, but the screw-adjustable height platform was just right. I set the level on the platform and then adjusted it up and down to get the line where I wanted it. The downside is the brightness of the light. It's great for indoor work but it's hard to use in bright light. Sometimes I would wait for the shade, or twilight, to be able to see a long way. It's good for at least 50 feet if the day is not too bright. Overall I am completely satisfied. If you really need something brighter I think you'll pay much more.

This laser is bright and very easy to use. It has many features and has full 360 beam. Nice case with lots of extras. Way better than the Bosch I had before

Yet to use it intentionally but I did have to open it and to inspect it. Small unit with two rechargeable batteries they recharged fairly quickly. All the pieces look to be okay I wouldn't want to drop it but the light is a very bright green. all lasers are working and easy to toggle through each variation of light. Purchase with a coupon at $46 ridiculously good deal and if it only last for a year too I definitely will not complain or at least six or so projects. At this point I would recommend as a definitely give it a try it seems to be stable and the out of level alarm is nice as well I mean it lets you know

Never had one of these or even seen one in use. I wish I had bought one years ago. Because I don’t have experience with a tool like this, it involved a learning curve to setup and use the first time. I used it to hang two curtain rods on windows which were eight feet apart. They came out nice and even. I used it to check some other things that were already setup. Just as I thought, they were a little off. I mounted the level on a photography tripod and it eventually worked out. The tripod wasn’t made for the close tolerances needed for a laser level. I had to adjust it a lot to get it to work with the laser level. Now I know why all the included stands have such fine tuning adjustments. The +/- 3 degree auto correction is very small. If you turn it on and it keeps beeping, it’s not within tolerance and needs to be adjusted. I got mine to self level, but it took some adjustments to the tripod. I set mine in manual and sighted along the wall and ceiling intersection. I know that even if something is perfectly level, but it doesn’t match the ceiling line, it will look crooked. The two batteries are an awesome addition. I didn’t need to use both, but I kind see the need for a bigger project. Take time to figure it out and this is a great tool. This is the perfect price point for the DYI’er.

The vertical lines are not at a 90 degree angle! I was putting up a tin ceiling and started on the north wall then the west wall. When I went to put in the field, the next rows I found out that the 2 vertical lines are NOT at 90 degrees! I waisted 7 tin tiles. At $10 a piece I'm not a happy customer. I looked in the owners manual and can't find how to adjust or calibrate it. I looked on Amazon and it tells me to look in the owners manual to calibrate this thing. So I hit the call for support and I got right thru to a lady that speaks broken English and I ask if she was in the United States and she said no. Now if I wanted to get help from someone I can't understand I'd call india myself. Oh wait maybe amazon called india for me. Needless to say this thing cost me more money than I spent on this piece of junk. Other than the angle being off and no way to calibrate this thing it works. Just don't expect the vertical lines to be at 90 degrees After submitting the previous review the company got ahold of me and sent me a replacement. The replacement is at 90 degrees so problem solved. Thank the company for making this right.
