I was wondering if I could hear much difference between tubes, and if so, did it really matter? Yes and YES! I've been down the Vintage Used, NOS, New Issue roads, and most were different, but mainly just different flavors of "That's Nice." Then I hit on the 12AX7 Horizons. Boom~! The sound jumped and everything I heard was just locked into place with a depth the others didn't have. I am an audio professional and I am picky enough to drive other people nuts at times.
