At my age it has become more difficult to clasp and unclasp my gold and silver necklaces. I purchased a set of 3ea silver magnetic jewelry clasps from Newport Blvd via Amazon last year and loved them. I then purchased another set in gold filled a few weeks ago.They are quite strong - no need to worry about coming apart. I also love the fact that they are made in the USA by a family owned business.

These are excellent for delicate chains -- those that you quit wearing as your fingers got older because it was not worth the trouble to deal with the tiny clasps. They have strong, secure magnets, yet are easy to clasp and unclasp and are unobtrusive. It's hard to find magnetic clasps delicate enough -- these are just what I wanted.

07/29/20 I had a couple bracelets that I couldn't put on by myself. My fiance leaves for work before I wake up in the morning sometimes, so he isn't always there to help me put them on. These things give me the freedom to wear whatever bracelet I want whenever I want! These are also helpful for lazy people (like me) to put on/take off necklaces easily. These would be great for those with shaky hands, those with thin/low nails, or anyone who struggles with using clasps in general. You need to hook them to the necklace/bracelet via clasp, but once its connected you're good to go! They also feel really sturdy so far, so I don't feel concerned about them slipping open and losing my jewelry. I will update my review if anything changes at all. Very satisfied with my purchase so far!

Received it three weeks ago and so far so good...hasn't been long enough to experience magnetics falling out or changing of the color. It's has very strong magnetic, good gold color and received on time. It actually has such a strong magnetic that it sticks to any metal that's nearby and it's own chain. Most of all it's so easy to hook it on to the chain and so easy to put it on and off with my aging eye sight..A GAME CHANGER. Price is a bit high for 10K GF for 3 pieces.If there's any change in quality,i will post the update.

I was told about these clasps and was very happy to finally have a solution to being able to put on necklaces myself without a magnifying mirror and lots of frustration.But I only can give them four stars because the magnets catch all the other jewelry in the case and gets all the chains tangled.Also, I’m a bit paranoid when I wear a necklace that’s a little heavier than most that the magnets won’t hold. And it takes good vision and dexterous fingers to attach the clasps.But otherwise, they are really helpful.

I am very very happy to find and use these magnet clasps. They are so easy to use with existing clasps. The gold plating is nice, and have not turned colors on me, with everyday use. I have less than optimal original clasps, that required a bit of time every day to put a chain on or off. The magnets are so strong, I am sure you would know if the necklace was somehow pulled off the neck. 4.5mm is the size that works well for me. I highly recommend. A great gift item for older less agile fingered necklace wearers. Would buy again.

I LOVE these magnetic necklace closures and the sellers are super nice! I bought one set & immediately went back and bought another (and I'm probably going to get more). Other closures of this type that I had purchased in the past were way bigger - too big - but these are a great size & are also incredibly strong, so there's so no worry about them coming apart & my losing a piece of jewelry. Well made, easy to use, with a strong magnet. This is perfect for any gold jewelry where you don't want to bother with the tiny circle/lobster clasp and hoop. Was initially concerned that the necklace would come apart on its on, but found that the magnet is actually quite strong, so without a lot of force, the necklace won't come apart. The magnet strength is both the PRO and the CON. Because if you try to wear other necklaces at the same time, the magnet will grab the other metals and it can bundle together.
