Love this kettle! I recently burned up my old tea kettle by going out to the garden while I left it on the stove. Have been looking for a while for a decent replacement and have bought and returned several I did not care for. First off, I do not like the giant ones. I just need this to heat up several cups at a time for cooking, tea or coffee. I bought this one and it is the perfect size. The whistle is high enough that you can fill the kettle fairly full without the water spewing out when it boils. Even though I have hard water, there is not residue building up in the bottom of the kettle. I rinse out after use and leave the whistle open to let it dry out and have had no issues. And it is cute. Do not mind leaving out on my stove.

After owning a very expensive whistling kettle, for some 25 years , I thought I would buy another kettle for a second home. Found the Amfocus drastically slashed @ $13 and since I already had one of the best ones that has lasted so long, figured I could not lose. I did not post the video as a comparison to any other product, just as a point of information and my personal comments. I used the kettle on my old gas stove. Water took approximately 5-6 minutes to boil filled. It runs on the small size measuring 50 oz to the fill line. At full boil, the screech is extremely loud and will get you running. A great asset for seniors and "busy with the kids" parents who may need to step away. For me, the louder the better. At first I did not have the lid completely tight, and the whistle was faint and weak. So keep that in mind if the high pitched whistle is too much to tolerate, you could reposition the lid. For comparison, it boiled 2 cups of water in 3 minutes. I can't comment yet on how the stainless holds up yet but looks good now even though it is extremely thin and light. Almost makes me question the SUS 304 rating stamped on the bottom since I use a lot of stainless steel working bowls and cups that are much heavier. But carrying a full kettle to the stove was not a problem. Handle was comfortable and not hot as long as you keep it in the upright position. I would say the water boiled relatively rapidly because of the thin metal, the tight fitting lid, and it's size. With all that said, bumping it on a hard counter, dropping it...I can almost guarantee will dent it. If the lid is bent out of shape it will compromise the tight fit, hence the whistle sound and boiling times. My conclusion, if you need a bargain kettle with just okay looks, a loud whistle, functional moving parts, this is a good Amazon buy.

This tea kettle didn’t even last a year and a half. It leaks around the bottom seam. Amazon can’t help and when I try to find customer support from the seller or AMFOCUS, they refer you back to Amazon. Very frustrating and will never buy another product from this seller or manufacturer.

I love this tea kettle. It’s pretty and it’s just the right size for two and 1/2 16 ounce to go tea cups. If you have more than 2 people to make tea for you might want a larger kettle, but it’s perfect for 1 or 2 people. It holds 1 quart filled to the pour spout. The whistle is great to let me know the water is hot. As long as I have the lid on, and the handle is straight up, the handle does not get hot. The opening without the lid is perfect for washing the inside to prevent water scale build up. It’s shiny stainless steel so it will never rust. Bottom is completely flat for my glass top stove.
