DWIL Tub and Tile Paint 16.5 oz, Tub Paint for Bathtub, Tile Refinishing with Hardener, Water Based, Low Odor, Semi-Gloss White, 25-30sq.ft

This stuff is amazing! Our house was built in 1947 and had an old peeling cast iron bathtub. Replacing the tub was not something that we wanted to do, so I decided to give this stuff a shot. As others have advised, I sanded down the tub and peeled off as much of the existing coating as I could. I also removed the existing caulk from around the tub. Then I throughly cleaned everything. I applied three coats, waiting two hours between each coat. Finally I re-caulked around the whole tub. We did not use the tub for a full week after completing the application. It has been over a month now and things are still looking great. I didn’t even use a full jar of this stuff to cover the bathtub, but as you can see in the pictures I only applied to the tub, not the surrounding tile.

Great coverage and quality. I have used the spray on in the past and it was not easy to use. This container actually gave me quite a bit of coverage. I was actually able to do my tub and my kitchen sink.. the product hardens fairly quick. It is thicker than the spray I did put three coatings on to give it the flawless look it has. The color is pure white, which I can appreciate. I will also come back in a few months and will give an update updated on this reveal.. you will not regret buying this product, especially if you ever use the spray. I personally found it easier to use less messy.. also there is no odor.

I truly have a love/ hate relationship with this product. I love the way it covers and how easy it is to use. But hate the fact that I have had to redo my shower for the third time. It has chipped over and over again even after following the directions. The color, perfect! Consistency, perfect! Appearance, perfect! The chipping and having it to do it over again…. Not so much!

If your tiles or bathtub are getting old and unsightly, but replacing them fully feels like too much of a financial burden, this product is a fantastic alternative! It completely refreshes the look without the high cost of a total remodel. For the best and most durable finish, I highly recommend applying multiple thin coats and giving it plenty of time to dry between layers. It makes a huge difference. Highly satisfied!

did all the steps. paint still started peeling in places, but my shower floor looks better than it did before, at least. it’s completely matte (no shine) and it smells only when paint is fresh. the instructions were easy enough to follow.

This paint is great. No smell and durable. Easy to roll on and doesn’t stain because of soap or use.

This would cover probably about half of my bathtub. They make you think that it's a huge thing. I actually did order two because I was going to do my countertops and my bathtub however this wouldn't even cover my bathtub two of them. That's where they get you. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or send it back but it's a very very small thing

We are genuinely impressed with this tub and tile paint. It completely transformed our shower and made it look clean, fresh, and updated without the cost of a full renovation. For a standard enclosed shower/tub combo, we ended up using two cans to get the coverage we wanted. We also applied one extra coat beyond what was suggested to ensure a more even, solid finish — and it was absolutely worth it. The paint went on smoothly and was much easier to work with than we expected. For comparison, we used a more expensive tile paint in another shower that required a much harsher and more complicated application process. This one was significantly more user-friendly while still delivering excellent results. So far, it has cured well, feels sealed, and has held up nicely. If we decide to paint tile again in the future, we would absolutely choose this product again. Highly recommend for an affordable, high-impact bathroom upgrade.
