Beautiful and large doll house
Purchased for my 2-year-old Granddaughter and she absolutely loves it. It has lots of furniture pieces to make it a nice playhouse for dolls. The instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to construct most if it by myself. The doll house foundation pieces are nice and sturdy. I am confident it will stand the test of time with a rambunctious toddler. One minor irritant is that the elevator is very hard for smaller children to move up and down. It’s a snug fit and needs some strength to push it up or down, other than, it’s beautiful, well-made and will give the children years of fun.

Best Christmas Present ever!
This dollhouse was a hit for Christmas for both my 3 year old daughter and 18 month old son. This dollhouse is very large, so read the measurements! The size is one of the reasons we went with this house. Both kids can play with it without being in each other's way. This doll house is extremely sturdy. I have caught both of my kids climbing on it and there has been no sign of damage. Not that I condone climbing on this, but it's not the plastic Barbie's dream house that might just collapse. It does come with the hardware to anchor it to the wall. One disappointment though, is the placement of the pool area. My daughter has to stand on the "patio" to be able to reach into the top bedroom. It's not a huge deal as it seems pretty sturdy, but I do wish the patio area was a bit shorter in length so that it didn't take up 75% of the front of the house. You can move it though. It does not attach to the main dollhouse. But it's still a huge. In my picture, you can see it off to the side.A few helpful tips for assembly:-Have some LR44 batteries on hand along with a tiny size screwdriver. Both the toilet and piano came with dead batteries. I think each item takes 3, so you would need 9 total for all of the items (there's also a light that lights up). I could be mistaken though and it could just be 2 but I'm fairly sure it's 3.-Spend the time organizing your parts before starting to put it together. Unwrap ALL of the furniture. There are pieces you need to assemble with hidden in other pieces! Also, be careful while unwrapping. There is one small, silver plastic piece that could easily be lost and then make it impossible to attach the stairs for the deck. Arrange the house pieces in numerical order. It will save you some sanity. If you take about 20 minutes to prepare to assemble, you'll be better off.-Have some vaseline and q-tips handy. Use it to grease up the inside of the track for the elevator. It will make a world of difference!-Use a drill or electric screwdriver. Go buy a cheap one if you don't have one. You really don't want to put this together without one. Electric screwdrivers are pretty cheap and worth it in this instance!-Look at the screws prior to assembly to get an idea of what you have. The instructions will just say to use screw "A" but it won't mention that screw A comes in pink, tan, grey, and green. As well as every single other screw. We have a few that aren't where they are supposed to be but not many. If you just notice that different sections of screws are still all the same, you won't make the same mistake....hopefully. It's not the end of the world if you do.I know there were a few times that the instructions weren't very clear. Don't be in a rush. Take your time and look at the pieces it's referring too. If it seems confusing, just think about the room it's trying to make and match things up.We put this together on Christmas eve and it took about 3.5 hours. We had nowhere to store it before so we had to assemble in one night.

Giant and awesome!
For reference, my kid is 4 years old and in the 98th percentile for height/weight — you can clearly see how giant this dollhouse is compared to her! It took two pretty handy adults right at 2.5 hours to put together. The instructions are pretty easy to follow, except for the occasional confusion as to which direction a part should face. The hardest parts of anssembly are the stairs and the upper patio they lead to. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn’t find the elevator terribly difficult to deal with — but I’m also not 100% sure we have it orientated the right direction. It works, so whatever. *shrug*There were a couple of dings and scuffs on the panels right out of the box, but nothing too noticeable. It’s definitely sturdy once it’s put together. My only real suggestion would be for the manufacturers to make the pool area solid instead of hollow, because if a kid steps on it trying to reach a higher area of the dollhouse, their foot is gonna go right through it and destroy that bit. I’ve warned my daughter of that, but given that she’s only 4 and has pretty severe ADHD, I’m not too sure how long she’s going to remember before crashing through it.

Amazing dollhouse!
Ok this dollhouse does not have the greatest instructions and it took me HOURS to put together. However, once it is put together it is amazing! I wish I had one of these when I was a kid, but my daughter is going to LOVE it for her birthday! I cannot wait to surprise her with it!

nice dollhouse with slight problems…
we bought this dollhouse for my two daughters who have a kidkraft dollhouse already that we absolutely love. apparently, barbie and ken needed a ‘vacation home’, and hence we landed on this after searching amazon. the price was pretty decent so we decided to go for it. it arrived on time in it’s original packaging, which displayed what it was with words but no pictures - in case your child can’t read, there would be no worries about them knowing what this was. the box had some wear on it, but was otherwise undamaged. when my husband and i began assembly, it was definitely overwhelming. the instructions..suck, to be honest. basic pictures without telling you which way the walls or floors should face. our BIGGEST issue by far was that several pieces were completely warped. floors didn’t meet walls exactly, or what should have been a square room was off and when the floors slid into position, they would fall because the walls were warped and didn’t hold them in place like they should have. my husband is quite handy, and was able to manipulate pieces or use extra screws to make it all work, but it did add quite a bit of frustration and “why the heck did we order this?” moments. once assembled, it is pretty sturdy and definitely big. the rooms can seem a bit dark, so we strung up little strands of lights to illuminate them to make it easier to see for our girls. overall, it’s a pretty decent and colorful dollhouse, but prepare yourself for assembly/structural issues.
