SO VERY GOOD!!!
I love this so much. I put a little Hershey’s cocoa unsweetened in there and it is to die for and I don’t make it to a true muffin. I make it kind of soupy and I need more but so expensive.☹️ I can’t post a photo because I ate it all🫣

YUM
Great dessert for times when I really want something decadent that is not good for diabetics. It is Paleo and it is tasty.

Yummy gluten-free snack, good ingredients
I got these chocolate fudge mug-brownie mixes because I like the short, natural ingredient list, and it's nice to have a dessert option in the pantry for when my sweet tooth kicks up. These packets are definitely convenient. With 8 in a box, they will last a long time. All you need is 1 Tbsp butter or oil, 2 Tbsp water, a mug or other cup, and a microwave or oven. I imagine most people will opt for the microwave, but there are directions for conventional baking as well. The ingredients are why I really wanted to try these. The list is short with only 7 ingredients, gluten-free (made w almond flour & tapioca starch), and no unpronounceable stuff. I made mine in the microwave. I melted 1 T (14g) salted butter in the mug first, then added the packet, then the water. I stirred it up, then nuked for 80 seconds and cooled for 2 minutes. It came out like a moist yet cakey brownie. I enjoyed the chocolatey flavor, although at one point I did get a slight bitter taste which could only be the baking soda, so maybe I didn't mix it well enough. I did not find the texture to be gritty at all as other have mentioned. I like products made with almond flour though, so maybe the other reviewers were noticing that slightly mealy texture. The biggest drawback to these for me if they pack a lot of calories. With the butter, they're 360 calories for what I consider to be a small snack. I know it's probably because of the almond flour, which adds relatively healthy calories, but this will definitely be an occasional snack for me and not something I'll be indulging in every day. At $28 for this 8-pack, which comes to $3.50 per packet, it's a little on the high side but not out of bounds for a quality gluten-free product.

They're good but you can tell they're gluten free
Stellar Eats’ instant fudge brownie cups are a solid “better-for-you” mug dessert, but for me they land at four stars rather than five once flavor and price are factored in. Preparation is straightforward: empty the pouch into a mug, add a tablespoon of oil or melted butter plus water, stir, and microwave for about 1-2 minutes. In my microwave, pulling it around the 70-80 second mark gave me a nicely fudgy center with set edges, similar to what I aim for when I under-bake a conventional brownie mix in an 8 inch pan. The mix comes together cleanly with a fork, without the clumping I sometimes see in higher-protein or flax-heavy blends, so it really does work as an easy, single-cup dessert. On the positive side, the chocolate flavor is pleasant and clearly in “fudge brownie” territory rather than “health bar pretending to be dessert.” The cocoa comes through well, and the almond flour and organic coconut sugar sit in the background instead of shouting their presence. That said, as someone who spends an unreasonable amount of time dialing in flavor pairings for espresso and evening treats, I can tell this is gluten free from the first bite; there’s a slightly denser, more rustic crumb and a hint of nuttiness that you don’t get with a classic wheat flour brownie. It’s “really good for gluten free,” but if you’re expecting a perfect dupe for a bakery brownie to go with a meticulously pulled double shot, you’ll probably notice the difference. Texture-wise, it’s very much in line with what I’ve seen from the brand’s carrot cake mix: good structure, a bit on the dry side if you overshoot the microwave time, and an overall crumb that’s impressive for grain free but still not indistinguishable from traditional. Using butter instead of oil improves both flavor and moisture, and if I were making this again I’d probably be a little generous with the fat or shave 10 seconds off the cook time, the same way I tweak recipes when I’m portioning out bulk baking mixes for the pantry. Served warm with a shot of properly extracted, medium roast espresso, it satisfies the chocolate craving, but it doesn’t quite reach the “wow” factor of a great conventional brownie. Ingredient-wise, this is exactly what I expect from Stellar Eats: almond flour, organic coconut sugar, cocoa powder, tapioca starch, flaxseed, coconut flour, baking soda, and sea salt. It’s grain free, gluten free, dairy free, plant based, paleo friendly, and free from refined sugar, and it manages 7 g of protein per serving, which is respectable for a dessert you can make in the time it takes an electric humidor to cycle its display or an espresso machine to heat up. From a “label reader” perspective, it checks a lot of boxes for people who stock their pantry with higher-quality bulk staples and pay attention to what goes into their snacks. Where I lose a star is value. At the current price of $27.99 for an 8 count box, about $3.50 per mug brownie, this sits firmly in premium territory even by the standards of gluten free, almond flour desserts. I understand that grain free ingredients and small-batch style products cost more, and I said something similar about the brand’s carrot cake mix : almond flour and date or coconut sugar are never going to be in the same price bracket as generic wheat and white sugar. Even so, when I compare this to what I can do at home by weighing out portions from a bulk brownie or cake mix into ramekins, or when I look at how far the same spend goes on other gourmet treats that pair with good coffee, this feels like borderline value. Overall, this is a convenient, thoughtfully formulated grain free mug brownie that tastes good, especially if you already live in the gluten free world and care about clean ingredients. It’s quick to make, works well as a single-serve dessert alongside a well-made espresso, and fits a variety of dietary preferences, but it does still “taste gluten free” and the per-cup cost is high enough that I’d reserve it for occasional treats rather than everyday use. Four stars: recommended if you prioritize grain free, short-ingredient-list desserts and are comfortable paying a premium, with the caveat that traditional brownie lovers may notice the difference in both texture and value.

Good chocolate flavor, easy to prepare
These single serving gluten-free brownie cups have a rich chocolate flavor, and a soft and slightly grainy texture. The ingredients are high quality and the directions are quick and easy. In just a minute you can make up a warm chocolate brownie treat in a cup that makes for a good snack or dessert. I added some white chocolate ganache to them and it was delicious. I like the convenience of these and being gluten-free is a nice bonus as well.

Love it
This instant brownie cup is surprisingly satisfying for something that cooks in under a minute. The texture comes out moist and slightly dense, closer to a fudgy brownie than a cake-like one, especially if you’re careful not to overheat it. The chocolate flavor is rich but not overly sweet, which makes it feel more balanced than many microwave desserts. The grain-free aspect doesn’t result in a gritty texture, which I appreciated. It’s not identical to a freshly baked brownie from scratch, and the portion is modest, but it works well for a quick dessert without baking an entire pan. The added protein is a nice bonus, though I wouldn’t consider it a substitute for a full meal. For portion-controlled treats or late-night cravings, it’s a convenient and fairly well-executed option.
