Daytona Helmets 3/4 Shell Open Face Motorcycle Helmet [Graphics]

Comfortable helmet- my head is size 23.5" and I ordered and XL. It fits perfectly. There is room in the ear pads for my Sina Speakers. No issues installing the SENA 30S unit. The padding is removable via snaps and the exterior is finished nicely (I ordered the matte black with orange stripe). The visor is a nice touch, we'll see, I have never used one. I compared the Daytona helmet to another, older 3/4 helmet I have. It is indeed lower profile and overall smaller shell. No bobble head. I replaced my older DOT half helmet and I am happy with this. I bought this based on the low profile claims, price and the ability to snap a shield on in the rain. Added bonus- ratchet chin strap. All looks good.

Even Daytona's 2XL looks smaller on my head than a Bell 500 XL. The Daytona does not stick-up high and give me a bobble-head look, and it's very light. I could wear it all day without neck stress. This review is ONLY based of my own experiences, and my OWN opinions.No Bobbles: Look, my wife wears an XS, and when she wears her XS Bell, she looks EXACTLY like a bobble-head! It's not just a person's head size that causes this, it's the head-size-to-shoulder-width ratio of a person, their neck length and how high the helmet rides on the crest of their head top. Wear a nice shouldered, full collar jacket and get a low profile helmet (like this Daytona) and you'll help cut back on that weird bobble effect.Shell Game: Daytona's sizes are in several "shell" builds: XS, S-M, L-XL, 2XL according to their website -- if I recall. For their larger sizes, their L and their XL use the exact same shell, but their 2XL has its own shell. I've tried on both Daytona's XL (which is what I would normally wear everywhere else) and then I tried on their 2XL. To me, Daytona's 2XL is the TRUE industry extra-large. That means that Daytona's XL falls more into a standard L size. This syncs with their shell lay-outs. So, when you buy a Daytona's 2XL, you're really getting an industry standard XL -- IMHO.Value: For this price range, this is a good value and a great look, but it's no $400.00 helmet. << Please remember that. To me, It's the best helmet for under $150.00 and I'm so happy with it that it's my go-to helmet night and day.P.S. The "Echo Shorty 3 Snap Shields" look awesome on this helmet, and they do a good job deflecting the wind.

Light, comfortable, fits as expected. Good helmet for the price, and gives me more coverage than a beanie.

Daytona did a great job with this helmet! It sits nice and low, with no mushroom-head look. Exactly what I was going for. Feels light and fits well using the size chart. You aren't going to get a ton of premium features with this helmet, but I knew that going in. Great buy if you are looking for a low-profile, minimalistic DOT-rated graphic helmet.

Firstly, this is an incredible helmet for the money.. Incredible. I have two other helmets, and I paid a lot for them. This is already my favorite helmet. I wanted a vintage looking helmet. I have vintage type goggles. This helmet is perfect and you don't get the mushroom head look, that most helmets like this give you. My only concern, and its minor, is the helmet out of the box is pretty snug. I ordered a large which was supposed to fit up to a 7 1/3 head size, I am a 7 1/4, and its tighter than my other helmets. With that said its worth trying it out for a few hours. If it doesn't give me head aches, I'll stick with it because I don't want to wait to get it replaced. The accessories, bag, visor, key chain are excellent. Highly recommended but follow the sizing chart with discretion.

These helmets are awesome. They are light weight and comfortable. I wear an XS helmet and my husband wears an XL. On most of our other helmets, the shell size of my helmet is a little smaller than my husband’s but not by much. With these helmets my helmet looks like a child size next to my husband’s. I appreciate the smaller shell size so I don’t feel like I have a huge bubble head! My husband also loves these easy rider helmets. I would highly recommend these helmets for their comfort and fit and their Stars and Stripes!

Size chart is off. My third time and 2xl fits. Price was good and I like the picture on one side but the "Nobody's Fool" had to go so a little modification and I'm happy. Now I can get something else airbrushed on it latet.

The helmet would get 5 stars but when I went to assemble the helmet with the visor that came with it, it would stay attached. The snaps simply do not work so the visor just pops off ... its useless ... Not happy with that! Update - I got with Daytona Helmets and they walked me through what may be wrong with the visor and once we all determined that the problem still existed the rushed me out a new visor to replace the defective visor. Great Job Daytona Helmets! Very pleased with the product. DH is an awesome company with a helpful customer service team that give a sh*#! Love it!
