Four stars because the package is gift-worthy and gender neutral.I don’t love the scent. It’s not bad, just okay - more generic vanilla than spicy teakwood. It’s definitely good quality, though. We’ve been using it under a candle lamp so I can’t speak to tunneling when lit, but the fragrance is definitely strong and fills a room.

This is probably the best scented candle I have had the pleasure of smelling in a long while. The scent is strong and very present, but not irritating or overwhelming. It has a long and consistent throw. The candle burns evenly with no residue or wax ring clinging to the jar. This candle does take a long time to burn as I have lit it for at least 4 hours every day for 2 weeks and only barely at half the candle. The glass is nice and thick, and the leather accent on the candle adds to an exclusive and high-end appeal from this brand. I am a huge fan of candles from this maker, however, most scents I have tested or purchased have revolved around food. This is the first I have sampled that is floral. This is a first for me, and I am pleasantly surprised. I look forward to more interesting scent combinations from M& Sense and recommend them to anyone who is looking to infuse their home or any space with inspired and unique scents.

This candle is surprisingly potent for its small size. There are many "notes" in the scent; and the shape of the aroma seems to change over the course of the burn. It seem like the citrusy parts give way to a more tropical "tree" style smell.To be perfectly honest, I was hoping for more of an orangey scent out of this candle - and it is in there - but the more pervasive aroma is a peachy, leafy one that is the scent that comes out strongest and spreads around. Again, it is amazing how much scent this little candle can put out - it's almost overpowering in a small office, but moved into a larger open space, this candle really shines (no pun intended).

This candle is very chic and looks stylish. I keep this in my small bathroom and honestly don't even need to light it because the scent is pretty strong. I use it as a room scent and just simply take the cover off when I want to refresh the air. It's packaged so cute. The orange scent is lovely.

Be prepared to be impressed; I was not expecting to be wowed by this candle.This candle was a gift for my sister, who has not stopped raving about this candle. She loves the scent and has the M&SENSE Soy-Scented candle melting in her candle warmer for hours daily.

I wish the presentation was as good as the quality of the candle because mine arrived with no wick. Well, the wick was there is was just submerged under the wax. First, the presentation of the box and wrapping made this like opening up a Christmas gift but to be left disappointed when you finally got to the main gift to find out it was broken. The wick was completely drowned in wax and I had to use my torch lighter (the ones you use for charring creme bruleee) to melt the wax around the wick. Finally after several minutes of torching I found the wick. I had to keep dumping wax out so it wouldn't bury the wick again. Finally once I got the wick exposed enough I was able to light it. It did smell nice and again the packaging a leather wrapped candle does look really nice. Not sure if this candle will even burn properly. If I gave this as a gift most people would have had to trash it. Sad, for the price I would think the quality control for the actual candle part would be better.

I had high hopes for this candle after seeing the photos of how elegant and high ended that it appeared. I had ordered to give to my mother for Mother's Day. I will say that the packaging on this is excellent and the person or persons in charge of that particular part of the company should be praised. The box is very durable and looks like it would make for a top-notch gift. I was super impressed with everything until I got to the actual candle. When I took it out of the box I immediately noticed that the lid was not one that was very secure, it kept falling off. Then for the candle itself I was caught off guard that there was no wick. I thought I had gotten a defect and was actually really disappointed. I tried pushing up on the bottom of the candle with the thought that it would "pop" out like some of the other reviewers had said, but mine did not. What I had to do was melt the wax all around the middle of the candle to get the wic exposed. Once I had it exposed it kept burning out. It took multiple attempts of the flame going out and me re-lighting it before it actually stayed lit. The scent is really nice though. I wish I was able to gift this like I planned to but didn't feel comfortable giving it after it was burnt numerous times, it would kind of defeat it's purpose. So at the end of the day I now own this candle and now that it is fully functioning I really do like it.
