Fiberglass Fish Tape Kit Connectable Cable Puller Diameter 5mm 33 FT Connector Thread M4 Pull Push Electrical Wire Rods with Hook and Eye

I had to pull some Cat 6 cable over a room with a vaulted ceiling and this one made it easy. This fish tape (pole) comes with a magnetic attraction attachment and a magnet attachment. I used half of the poles to push the cable over the vault portion and the other half with the magnet on it to snag the first half ( I had taped a cheap chem-light on it to make it easy to find in the attic) and pulled it through without having to squeeze along rafters on my stomach.This product has the length (33 feet) to do most pulls and is flexible enough to make it useful. It has four other attachments that are also very hand (hook, flexible leader, etc.). The price makes it affordable for home use, and the quality makes it a worthwhile purchase.

I agree with some previous reviews about the rods not being very rigid. However, I was working in an area that had a raised floor so this product fit my needs. I was able to easily push 7 sections through the wall down through the wall to my desired location. Pulled 2 Cat6 lines plus Cable TV with one pull. More time was spent cutting hole in drywall and patching then pulling the actual cables.Greatest part were the extra attachments. The wire loop was perfect for attaching the various cables to ensure only pulling line once.Definitely take into consideration the posts about the rods flexibility, but if you have room to work, this is perfect.

Good stick for price, over very flexible the ends are bit weak. These are very flexible so not great for crossing beam to beam. Comes with a couple useful attachments

Useful for fishing a rope or cable for ethernet installation/extensions, etc. Very useful. A companion to my flexible 10m fiberglass rod. My buddies like to borrow this with my ethernet cable tester & tool kit.

Very light weight but the price is right.

As many others have noted, this item is of incredibly poor quality. Upon my second use while pulling a few speaker wires through an empty wall, the male metal threading broke inside the female end. No bending or excessive force, it just broke from light use.You have been warned. Spend a few dollars extra and find something more durable for even occasional DIY usage.

My husband likes it, says it makes everything easier

The price of this couldn’t be beat. Big box stores have this for almost 3 times the price.
