This large Uirway L-shaped cover is made from a PU coated 420D Oxford fabric with an apparently improved water pressure resistance and reinforced seams. 420D is the density normally used for garden covers; the higher the D number, the thicker and tougher the fabric,I already have a small cover made from the thicker 600D fabric which, although it may possibly resist tearing slightly better than the 420D, doesn’t seem to be significantly better in overall use – and it was considerably more expensive that this Uirway cover despite being much smaller.Before I began buying the new PU coated cloth, I always tried to buy the thickest and most substantial canvas-based cloth I could find, and I was quite sceptical about the effectiveness and the durability of the modern, thinner Oxford covers when I first saw them.However, a big advantage of the new PU coated Oxford cloth is that it is literally ‘fit and forget’ i.e. doesn’t need regular waterproofing, which saves a lot of time and trouble, especially if you have a lot of garden furniture. It also keeps its colour throughout its life and doesn’t fade badly like the old canvas-based Oxford material did. So far, our coated Oxford covers have stood up to the elements far better and have lasted far longer than the old canvas cloth, which would always start to become brittle over time, and eventually tear irreparably; this doesn’t seem to happen with PU coated cloth.One criticism I have with my other Oxford covers is that I usually have some difficulty in removing them from their zipped storage bags because the bags are far too small. I then often discover that it is completely impossible to return the cover to the bag, so the bag becomes useless and the cover has to be stored without the bag.I’m delighted to say that this is just not the case with the Uirway cover. When I opened the bag I was amazed to see that it was at least 4cm larger than the folded cover so, thanks to that generous allowance, I am able to re-fold the cover and place it into the bag without the usual battle; what a nice touch.This is a high quality cover that will doubtless provide good protection for many years to come. The fact that it can easily be returned to its zipped bag and stored neatly is a definite bonus for me – and also extremely unusual. Overall, I’m very impressed with the cover and, at this competitive price (£36.99 less 20% Amazon voucher = £29.59), it's a bargain.

Not only does it have clips at each corner to hold on, but I found the long straps at each end particularly useful in taking out the slack and tensioning the cover onto my furniture. This is a feature my previous cover did not have, and will hopefully stop the wind catching it so much.I found the 420D material a little thin, but when I checked against another cover that I have had for a while, and consider ideal, that was also 420D - so its probably just in my head. I previously paid a lot more for an 'orginal' cover by the manufacturer of my furniture. It was heavy and thick, and tore within a year. I have much higher expectations of this affordable cover.

This is a 420D waterproof coating it is a well thought out cover it even has grips to lift and hang to dry out, the vents help with air flow.It comes in 7 different sizes which should be one for all L-Shaped designs . The straps around the sides give a solid tight fit to keep the cover secure.Compared to older covers I have had this is a great product which gives full waterproof protection.

Once out of the Bag and arranged on the floor its easy to cover your corner furniture, I would say you need an extra pair of hands as its large and awkward to do it on your own especially if its windy.The material is lightweight and waterproof with handy tie down straps on the side to keep it in place.Considering what you have paid for your furniture already, its good value for money to keep it dry and clean during bad weather. Folds up and stores away nicely for storage.
