Why would I buy a filter that doesn't remove Bacteria? Removing Bacteria from Mains water containing Chlorine could be said to be a contradiction in terms! Whilst the original and alternative Ceramic filters that have been supplied as standard for all the types of Franke housings over the years also include bacterial reduction, this isn't necessarily a must have on a Mains water supply which is already clean, since it has been dosed with Chlorine to protect against said bacterial contaminants, so why pay more to have a level of filtration which isn't necessary?
