I see it has shrimp in the ingredients, can you taste it at all? I hate fishy tastes so need to know, Thanks!

Thanks I never know/notice there is shrimp in these noodles. There is a soup bag which has some meat-like particles and now i know it is dried shrimp probably, I used to thought it is pork. The flavor bag is pretty strong so my answer is: barely you notice anything except the soy paste.

Is the taste similar to jajangmyeon?

Yes it does. It's not exact to the real thing (these ARE instant noodles after all) but it's close enough. Jajangmyeon and this are the same thing, however.

Can I make them with a microwave?

Yes. Prepare a microwave-safe-bowl, put the noodle and vegetable into it, pour water until the half of the noodle sink, microwave it for three minutes, take the bowl and spread powered sauce on the noodle, make the upper side(dried side) of noodle face a bottom of bowl, microwave it 3 minutes again, mix well, and that's it. Take a bite. You can find detailed instruction from Google by searching following keyword, "Chapagettie microwave"

cooking instructions

I was shocked and appalled to read the cooking instructions in English on the back of the package, which said to put everything in the package, noodles and all the little packets, into room temperature water, bring to a boil, and then eat as is. I ignored these cursed instructions and cooked them the way I and literally every Korean I know has done forever, which is to bring water to a boil, add the noodles and vegetable bits, drain off the water, mix up with the sauce packet and oil packet. When I cooked them properly, they tasted perfectly good, would buy again. Still, one star off for making me feel bad about all the non-Koreans stuck eating sad noodles floating in black soup.
