Although the price is a bit higher compared to other products, the quality is well worth it. Unlike a typical toner, this lotion has a unique, thicker consistency that works as both a toner and an essence, simplifying the skincare routine by combining two steps into one. It effectively cleanses any remaining impurities without leaving the skin feeling dry or tight. Instead, it provides a nice hydrating and moisturizing effect, which my husband really appreciates. This toner has a watery texture. It's to be soaked in a cotton ball and apply after you've washed your face and before putting on moisturizer. The toner helps clean up anything the cleanser missed, keeps your skin from getting dried out and help the skin absorb the nutrients better. The price is rather high for a toner but this toner has very good quality so it's worth trying out.

I have always been a big fan of Lab Series products for men. I have tried different products intended for men for skin care but find Lab Series to still be the best. I use this at night before bed and it does work great on the skin by itself. I do find it works better when paired with another moisturizer. I apply this product first then I use a retinol cream afterwards. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is honestly the price. While I get the product is exceptional compared to others I’ve tried, the price is a bit high in my opinion. One bottle will last me about six weeks, so it’s not like I’m spending that amount every few weeks. But if you pair it with other Lab Series products, it does get a bit pricey and can cause a lot of people to shy away. But overall a great skin care product.

Lab Series Daily Rescue Water Lotion Toner comes in a nice size bottle of 6.67oz. Like most toners this has similar consistency to... well, water. Guess you can splash it on but I like to use a cotton swab - they refer to it as a water lotion. I like the way it feels when I'm using it and appreciate what I see after using it. Label says it contains familiar skincare ingredients 4% Niacinamide + Resveratrol complex, but it also says it contains Hydra5GTechnology which sounds impressive but I have no idea what that is and there doesn't seem to be any explanation. Lab series is a great company from the UK for men skin care products, they are quality products and that's why the price is higher than others. This toner lotion has a good consistency, it is different from your typical toner, toner is usually a clear watery solution, this is an essence that doubles as a tonic skipping one step in your routine, it cleanses the remaining impurities well without stripping your face and leaving it dry, the essence helps with moisturizing and hydrating. My husband really likes this brand and this product in particular.

This toner has a neutral, pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering and feels refreshing upon application. It works well as an aftershave, leaving skin hydrated for several hours, despite containing some alcohol. It absorbs quickly without leaving a slimy residue.

I've recently convinced my husband to start using a toner/essence as part of his evening grooming routine. When I had the opportunity to try the Lab Series Daily Rescue Water Lotion, which is being marketed to men specifically, I jumped at it. I'll start by saying that unlike my SK-II and Missha Time Revolution Essence, this doesn't contain any fermented ingredients (which I think are the key to an effective toning product). Active ingredients are Niacinamide and Resveratrol. It also contains Witch Hazel. I don't think he notices any difference, so I tried it out myself for a week to report my findings. First off, despite the presence of Niacinamide, I don't think this has brightening properties to rival my favorite fermented toners. It does a decent job at hydrating/plumping skin but it doesn't improve tone/texture the way I experience with the SK-II, for example. It leaves a bit of a sticky residue after it dries down, but if used strictly before bed, it shouldn't pose too much of an issue. And lastly, it contains fragrance. The stuff has a potent, masculine scent. Like aftershave. My husband enjoys splashing it on in place of a traditional after shave product, but if you don't want your skincare competing with your cologne, then you probably won't like this.

使い始めたのは随分前になるが、当初はサラッとしていた。だから同じラボシリーズのアフターシェーブも購入して使っていた。 でも途中から粘り気がある商品になり、感触が変わりましたね。 それからはアフターシェーブを買わずに兼用で使っています。一石二鳥と考えています。

使用後肌が突っ張らずしっとり感が良いと思います。
