If I shave every day it's fine. Otherwise it won't work right. I even did a regular face wash, try make up remover and still nothing

I received the first bottle and noticed there was no seal, then discovered the seal had come off and was stuck inside the screw off top. Amazon sent a replacement immediately, but the second bottle had the same issue. I called the distributor and they asked for a production code with white numbers, then they said my particular batch had been made in 2020. So yep, I got two year old product. I was told it was ok to use, but then quickly found out the oil doesn’t really help with a smoother shave, or at least it didn’t help me. Maybe 2-year-old product isn’t as effective. The distributor stated they would send a replacement, so I’ll update my review and stars if and when I get the replacement.

It's cheap, and works but it's on the verge of a bad scent in my opinion. Kind of like crisco or animal fat.

I purchased this oil thinking it would be a better value and comparable to "Shave Secret" but it's not. The oil allowed for a decent shave but it wasn't as smooth as SS. The scent was also along the lines of an industrial smell. It felt weird shaving with it because I didn't know if I would break out from it since I have sensitive skin but luckily, I had no adverse reaction to it. Overall, I wouldn't order it again and I am returning it.

This shaving oil performed about identically to "Shave Secret" which is also excellent. This product comes in a more convenient size, and the cost per ounce is a bit lower than Shave Secret. Using just a small amount allows for a close comfortable shave, and it seems to make the blades clean up easier and last a bit longer.Only thing I wished they'd change is the dark amber container. It's difficult to estimate how much product is remaining because it's opaque. Other than that - great stuff!

I bought this in combination with the unscented soap and followed the directions by applying 3 drops of the oil to my lather bowl. It resulted in a nice lather and a smooth shave. I have sensitive skin, coarse hair, nick easily and BLEED! But the combo of the soap and oil has pretty much eliminated that, highly recommend!

Works great, I use the same blade for a month shaving every day. Scent is not great but is nominal.
