Cheap material/poor quality
I have been reading the reviews of what great quality this hand rail is and have come to the conclusion that people have no idea what quality is. I bought this to replace my 15yr old handrail. Unlike my original this was a piece of cheap junk. Thin wall material. So flimsy it deforms when anchoring it and flexes when using it to exit the pool. I could bend it with my bare hands. Spend the extra money and buy a quality heavy gauge handrail from a reputable company. I threw this one in the trash. Gave it a 1 because 0 was unavailable.

Good Rail
Easy to install with the correct inserts. Have to really tighten down the restraints on the inserts to stop it from twisting, but once they're tight enough, it's stable.

Easy install with pavestone deck
No directions came but it was an easy install infact easier then having to drill concrete. Pavestones were taken out and a hole dug and using the items sold seperately -a 12 inch hole dug and concrete put in and then the ends of the railing were put in the tubular device and the caps were put on the poles and taped up on the railing. A rectangular hole was dug and rebar was put in and then more concrete added. Note there are bolts on the tube you put the railing in. We left the bolt on the surface of the concrete in case you want to take the railing out.Concrete will be the same level of the deck. Then when dry slip the caps down. Also while drying put a few bricks to support the lower railing while drying-about 3 days. I stained the concrete to match my pavestone. I was told by a pool company it would cost $1000.00 and the railing would go to the bottom of the pool which I was nervous about. With the railing and two items needed it cost about $250.00 on Amazon-used 2 bags of fast dry concrete

Aqua Select Premium Pool Hand Rail
This hand rail is inexpensive and we wanted new ones when we redid our pool. It's very thin and really cheap so even with new anchors in the cement its still flimsy and although adequate the old unit (over 25 years old) was much better and sturdier. I may partly fill it with mortar maybe 12" inches or so to help make it more secure. Spend more $ and get a better one from a pool supplier.
